Huong's Vietnamese Bistro
Tried this restaurant for the first time. I ordered the vermicelli dish with shrimp, chicken and spring roll. It was okay.Serving portion was generous. The sauce lacks acidity and heat. We asked for sauce dish and was told to use the plate used with the bean sprouts (save dishes, I guess?!) Avocado shake was a bit runny. I was hoping for thick creamy version of it.Also, i would suggest that they clean up the dining room. No boxes, no storage containers. It was unappealing to eat.

Probably the best Vietnamese food I’ve ever had. Food was pipping hot, there was an incredible amount of meat in the bun bo hue, and the flavour was extraordinary. The owner even took a minute to show me how to roll the spring rolls correctly, which I really appreciated!The store seems to have plenty of regulars, and I can see why. The amount and quality of food you get is mind blowing with how low the price is. This is hands down my new favourite restaurant in Ottawa!

My go to local place for simple, tasty and affordable noodle and rice dishes to go. Very friendly staff, clean and quiet ambiance which is great! Staff always remember my preferences and each dish is explained very well. You can tell they take pride and really appreciate their customers.

If we lived in Ottawa we'd come here every week! Bun bo hue and grilled pork were delicious. Also very friendly service. I'd definitely recommend this place!

Hands down the most underrated, and my favourite Vietnamese restaurant in Ottawa. Honestly, one of the best I've had in all of Canada from The Lunch Lady in Vancouver to a few in Montreal. The food is fresh, delicious and an amazing value. The portion sizes for what you pay is crazy good. I'd say around 30-40% cheaper than anywhere else but serving just as big if not bigger servings. Tried the bun bo Hue here and pretty much everything on their menu and this is what it's supposed to taste like, so freaking good and authentic.Staff are really friendly and you can see how hard they are working. They deserve the best! Overall, this place is awesome. I would HIGHLY recommend trying out the food here!

I love this place! One of my favourite Vietnamese restaurants in town. If you are in the area and trying to decide to go to New Mee Fung or Huong Vietnamese Bistro, I highly recommend you visit this restaurant instead. New Mee Fung quality has gone done hill and their meatballs are trash now.I always order the pork with quiche and I add extra meatballs. Their food is always fresh, tasty and everything on the menu is so good. Try my order and you won't regret it. The meatballs here are worth the visit alone.Parking is limited but there are a bunch of side streets which shouldn't be a problem to find. Inside has a homey decor, ran by a family owned business. The owners are extremely nice and have always taken care of me. They always go out of their way to make you feel good.In conclusion, if your in the city then you must pass by here and try it out!!

Taste not bad. Still not as authentic as i had hoped taste wise.The meatball was quite good. The egg quiche though doesn't taste right and i don't like the fake crab in my chả trứng.The interior and service are very authentic and friendly though. I really like the friendly feel and the affordable price.Will come back to try all the other dishes.
