I loved this quaint, spacious lodging. It is simple, comfortable, had a full size kitchen with amenities, a big bathroom with a soothing shower experience. There is enough beds and room to fit a family of 4! There was a pull out sofa, a single bed in the living area, and a queen bed in the bedroom. The service was excellent! When we booked online it allowed us to book but the place was closed for the night. We called the staff number that was on the door and a staff member was able to help us find the key for the suite and in the morning assist us with the check out and providing information on their accommodations. I think it used for retreats, and I can see why. It is on a rural road, a bit far from the town, but worth the stay! Beautiful and serene here.

The rooms are quaint and clean, the kitchen was super useful as well as stocked with minimal dishes. Zero housekeeping on your stay which was disappointing...but there’s an envelope to leave a tip for them. The spa is a joke $20 to use a hot tub. That’s like the supper 8 charging to use the pool. Gentlemen in the office doesn’t speak English. Good thing I speak French. Close to Shediac which was great.

The customer service was excellent. They made sure we were having a great experience the whole time. The room was beautiful, very clean and spacious. We had everything we needed for a retreat.

Great looking rooms. A few of the small appliances could stand to be replaced but not a big deal. Heated floors are great. Decent price. I've paid more for worse.

If you are looking for a relaxing weekend away, then this is the place to go. It is close enough to Shediac but it is at a perfect spot for a quiet getaway. The rooms were clean and spacious. I never had a chance to try the spa but everything else was great! There is a big friendly dog that will greet you !

Really nice looking rustic condo with a good cedar smell ! Pretty clean too. The owners are also really nice. The only thing we did not like was the bad soundproof. We had neihbors that were loud untill 1h30am. Could not really sleep.

This Lodge was amazing, and we just loved our two night stay in number B5!! Spacious, beautiful, came with a full kitchen, separate bedroom, and the bathroom was larger than the bathroom we have at home. Being on the second floor, we had a nice balcony where I enjoyed my coffee in the morning and did some homework. This was a really nice way to start the day as the area is beautiful and peaceful, and I even saw some hummingbirds drink from the red flowers they have hanging from the balcony, so nice! The gentleman (sadly forget his name) who showed us our room was extremely friendly and took the time to tell us about local sights and provide us with maps. Never got the chance to thank him for his suggestion of going to Hopewell Rocks. We went two days in a row to see the different tide levels and it was so amazing to see! We will be staying at Village Scandinave Lodge any time we visit Shediac from now on!

I am so glad that I decided to go with the Village Scandinave Lodge and Spa for my overnight trip in New Brunswick! My ultimate destination was Prince Edward Island and the Lodge was the perfect place to stop for the night. The rooms are clean and spacious, a small slice of paradise set away from the busyness and noise that you would find in a more populated area. Will definitely be recommending to family/friends passing through and stopping again myself should the opportunity present itself!
