Most, if not all, schools under the TCDSB are terrible and have a toxic culture. Most teachers are too lazy to teach and are awful role models for children. Students are unceasingly assigned lots of homework throughout the school year and are usually assigned extra homework before long weekends or school breaks, which gives students no time to relax and is harmful to both their physical and mental health. Many teachers and principals tend to shame their students who do not complete their homework on time, make small mistakes, and ask for help.TCDSB schools often tolerate bullying despite having an anti-bullying policy. Students who speak up about their experiences with bullying or getting treated unfairly by a teacher tend to get silenced by school administrators or teachers rather than taking responsibility. Some teachers are aware of the injustices within the school community and the poor quality of the education system, but are afraid or are not allowed to support and advocate for their students as well as students' rights.Students deserve better and should not have to go through this at a young age while completing their primary and secondary education.

If the TCDSB sold this piece of prime real-estate and took up residence in one of the many closed schools. They would be able to pay for air conditioning in every classroom

Their response time is awful, be prepared to be on hold for 4 hours straight if you wanna speak to one of the workers for a question that only takes 2 minutes to answer.. Oh, and they don't answer any of their emails, either.

They mess up your summer school schedule and then don't answer their phone or email... very bad response times it takes about an hour and a half and sometimes longer just for them to spend 2 minutes helping" you and then their solution doesn't even help at all. So unprofessional from a school board"

It's really a shame there's no way to give them 0 stars. The staff are unprofessional and lazy and do not treat students or parents with any respect. The board executives are just as bad. If you're from the suburbs (Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Markham, etc) it's even worse. If you're from Woodbridge, there is no way they will ever treat you with any degree of respect. They'll treat you like subhuman garbage! Also, stay away from St. Fidelis Catholic School in North York - their staff is inadequate and unfit to be in their positions!

PUT BETTER FOCUS ON STUDENT NEEDS AND WHAT IS IMPORTANT. THE UNIFORM SITUATION IS BS, THEY SHOULD BE OPTIONAL, NOT EVERY FAMILY CAN AFFORD UNIFORM. How can this sad schooling system call themselves Catholic when they can't even bother with half their students? Aren't we the focus? Aren't WE the ones making you guys have jobs?
