I love these quarterly events! Women telling their own stories - always fascinating and fun.

I always have a wonderful time at Spoken Lives... It is a creative and warm environment of interesting people coming together to share their stories and lives. I've made friends for life and great networking connections for my work, too!

Spoken Lives is an amazing group of women sharing their stories of triumph in their lives overcoming adversity. The sharing, caring and support is heartwarming and empowering. The first Gala was a magical evening that is well-captured in the video. As an active ally of Spoken Lives, I encourage women of all walks of life to participate and share their wisdom with each other in this empowering forum.

I have attended 'Spoken Lives' since its inception and I can't speak highly enough about this amazing series of events.I always look so very forward to the evenings where I hear wonderful, 'life-affirming' REAL stories from REAL women. I always learn something from each woman's experience and I get to meet and chat with them afterward.The creator of this fantastic 'happening', Elizabeth Verwey, has done something so very necessary in this wild and crazy' world of ours. She has give a platform to so many women so they can share their experiences which, in turn, have helped so many other women (and every once in a while a man, too) in their own lives.We are living in a time where building a sense of 'community' is more important than ever. 'Spoken Lives' does this incredibly well.I highly recommend this fantastic experience for everyone.

I've attended several Spoken Lives events over the last few years. I met Elizabeth about 20 years ago through our networking, our Mentors' Circle uses her book so I knew the events would be great ..... and they are. Great conversations, attendees of all ages ... and new and interesting people for me to meet. Thanks for these Elizabeth!

In today's internet world, there are not many places you can go and feel that you can turn to anyone in the room and they will happily start chatting with you and soon you will have a new friend. Spoken Lives offers a chance to meet new friends and learn about the lives of three of four people in depth. Each speaker has some nugget of truth that will speak to you. You might laugh or cry, whichever,emotion you feel, you will remember the moments spent at a Spoken Lives Event.The annual Silver Linings Gala brings back three of the best loved speakers as well as raising money for two very worthy charities.Come with friends or come on your own, either way, you will be welcomed with open arms and enjoy an evening connecting with community.

I have had then privilege of working alongside Elizabeth Verwey and her team to create a space of sharing, laughter and love.This event does not only connect you to extraordinary women, whose stories are both relatable and engaging, but provides a community of women who support, nourish and inspire.Will forever praise and recommend to all my girlfriends!
