Jeremy came highly recommended to us, and we're so glad he was available to work on our home. We honestly didn't even know where to start when we were looking to get our ceiling smoothed out (removing inconsistently-done texture in the 80s), but right away he saw our vision and understood exactly what needed to be done. He also provided quick and highly competitive/reasonable quotes for the job, which never changed from start to finish, and he was completely flexible with scheduling. He was honest and reliable, and showed up every day on time. As I'm working from home, I really appreciated that he kept me in the loop about the length of each work day and detailed exactly what was to be done by the end of each one.He even went above and beyond the original quote when he noticed that there may have been some issues from a previous installer back when the house was built. Being a business owner who clearly strives for perfection in his work, he immediately got to work with a fix and spent extra hours making sure that we were happy (despite this part not being his fault and it being totally out of his control). But he did it anyway, and it looks flawless. I would recomend soldier to anyone friends and family included. In vic I have fund contractors to be unreliable with poor quality work. Not this guy, he was on time every day, awesome quality work, great pricing, and took aot of pride in his work.Hire this guy for renos, you will not be disapointed!

I had 3 large rooms with ceiling texture to be removed, Jeremy did amazing job making ceilings super smooth, he did some crack repairs which took him an extra time, I would strictly recommend this guy to anybody, he is an honest, reliable, hard working guy

I worked on a job site in Colwood, doing some custom finishing carpentry, when I met Jeremy. He had been contracted to do some mudding and taping, as well as cover some stipple ceilings and a few other repairs. Being a general contractor myself I am always watching for other tradesmen that specialize in areas that I do not, so as to offer clients turn-key solutions. Jeremy’s work really stood out to me. Large area ceilings were evenly floated and left looking as though it had just been freshly boarded. Clean, crisp and square corners, thin and nearly invisible tape seams, flat and seamlessly filled repairs speak for themselves, and they all declare that Jeremy truly is a master of his trade, and at a very reasonable rate as well. I highly recommend Soldier Drywall for any custom work, renovations or repairs.
