Park Place Lodge

Great place to stay. Would be nice if you didn't have to request a room clean if you're staying and extended period of time. We stayed 2 weeks, We requested a room cleaned twice we stated a nice job off, but they didn't change the bedding. For sure we could have requested it but it's the last thing you think about when you come in from a day skiing.

Not a terrible place, I've stayed here a few times for work, the first few I didn't have a problem however this last trip I noticed a musty smell in the place which I would attribute to the pool and ventilation. The first room I was put in had this smell x 10 however the staff was good enough to move me. The grab and go breakfasts aren't good and the restaurant doesn't open until 7 so that's not convenient for working folks.

We had an amazing stay at Park Place Lodge! The room was very clean, the food was delicious (we had dinner at the pub, and breakfast at the buffet), and the staff were extremely helpful and polite. The Manager Adam went above and beyond for us during our stay.We highly recommend this property while in Fernie, we will definitely be back!

Hotels don’t need to provide a quality breakfast, but when they do it speaks volumes of their quality of care for guests. I stayed here 5 nights and had a great breakfast each time. I highly recommend.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this independent hotel owned by a local family, and it was a great find. After 11 days on the road and eating mediocre breakfasts at chain hotels, it was a welcome surprise to find a hotel that offered a better-than-average breakfast, including Eggs Benedict, tasty sausages, and really good pancakes.The hotel room itself was spacious and comfortable, with quality bedding and a cozy duvet that made for a great night's sleep. The bathroom was also spacious and well-appointed. The only minor annoyance was that our room had an adjoining door to another room, and the kids on the other side were less than quiet at 6:30 AM. Despite that, the staff were terrific from check-in to check-out, and the staff in the bistro at breakfast were especially friendly and helpful.It feels great to support an independent business that's owned by a local family, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with great amenities and friendly staff.

We had an amazing weekend at this hotel, everything we needed was provided, the pub had amazing food, our room was very clean & staff was so friendly! Pool and sauna were a great bonus to our stay. Will return!

It was everything we were looking for in a ferny ski trip. Shuttle right at the door, bar/dining on premises, clean with comfortable beds (nice hot shower too) and just a short walk to historic Fernie for shopping and other dining options. But the best part about the place was the extremely friendly staff who go out of their way to help you and put a smile on your face. Jaimie, Sumara, Amy and Kendra are just a few names I remember but all were great.

We did get to the hotel early and they were able to accommodate us with an early check-in which was fantastic. Staff very pleasant, But in the room there was a dirty towel from the previous person hanging behind the door, the toilet paper stand was absolutely disgustingly dirty, the bathroom floor was not cleaned from previous, there were mats of dog hair on the carpet that’s just gross.As for parents who probably go sit in the bar and leave their children unattended while they run up and down the hallway yelling and screaming not pleasant. Unfortunately the pool and hot tub should be in a closed room so no one hast to listen to screaming children in the pool. Our room was not cleaned for the three nights that we stayed there unacceptable. The breakfast buffet was the same for three days in a row.From our experience we will never stay there again and I would never recommend anyone to stay there
