I gave blood today for the first time (am 29) and have wanted to for YEARS! Ever since I was 17. I was really nervous when I woke up and realized my appointment was today. But everyone there, from the person at the front desk, to the women that took me through my questionnaire, to the nurses, and all the staff, were incredibly thoughtful and kind. It made me a lot less nervous and I felt great about the entire experience!! Thank you Guelph Clinic for having such well trained and amazing staff!! I will be back :)

Had an amazing first time donation experience today, everyone was SO nice and understanding, i was terrified and wanted to get over my fear and they made it so easy, offering lots of snacks and drinks and going above and beyond at making me feel safe and comfortable, will be donating again thanks to these amazing peoples. If you’re nervous to donate, don’t be ❤️

There could be better coordination with 1st time donors/ newcomers into Canada to understand all required criteria and allot appointment accordingly. This could help save valuable time of all involved in this great initiative.

Now with the Give Blood app, I can move through the screening interview very quickly. I was in and out of the clinic in less than 30 minutes !!! Easy and quick way to help someone in dire need

Extremely rude front desk staff, turned me away for being 5 minutes late. I give religiously every 6 weeks and drive 35 minutes each way to do so. You’d think if they were in need of blood they would accommodate! Last time I donate
