Robart safely installed Telus fibre wiring through concrete & found a safe way around my full panels when Telus couldn't. Extremely knowledgeable, experienced & professional - will use them again in a heartbeat! Very reasonably priced, too!

I haven't had the opportunity to use Robart's services (yet), but his random act of kindness today was heartwarming. I would recommend his company on character alone. Thank you , kind sir!

We needed to have our electrical panel upgraded to facilitate solar panel installation. Robart came out and gave us a quote and offered many suggestions, answered all questions, and did not pressure us for any upgrades. In the end, we also chose to upgrade from 100 Amp to 200 Amp. His crew was great. They showed up early, and took care of everything and provided extra value service in a few areas. They were all friendly and knew exactly what needed to be done. We will definitely use them for any future electrical needs.

Rob helped us out immediately when I called at 7:00am after Epcor confirmed our meter arched and caused a fire and we had no power. Dale came out within two hours to assess our problem. Came back next day and replaced the melted electric meter base and the wiring to our power panel. Clean up and quality of work was excellent, thanks to everyone that helped us out.Sent from my iPad

Over the Christmas Holidays we had an incident that made us not feel safe in our home. The police advised us to install a doorbell camera, and when we looked it up the videos were simple and we thought we could handle it ourselves. When we actually looked into it, because our house is from the 70’s with some spotty electrical work in between, we really needed an electrician. Not every electrician is willing to install Google Nest Hello Doorbells, and the ones on the Nest website would only install it (and not the necessary transformer or extension wires required). They, in fact, did not even want to attach it to our brick siding.I was told to call around, and being that it was the Christmas holidays, no one was answering. My brother let me know about Robart as his company uses them in many houses, and I gave them a call. Not only was my call answered, but it was the owner (Rob). He provided a timeline and the possible needs were assessed by phone. He advised to make the job go faster as there were two parts (transformer and doorbell) he recommended two workers come out and the rate was the best we had heard of to date. They also were able to come the following week (as everyone was still on holidays, and Rob explained he did not think this warranted an emergency electrician for a higher price). The honesty was welcomed, and I didn’t feel like it was a hustle. The office staff were friendly with setting things up in a timely manner too!On the day of the install, the electricians came early, which was nice but I would have liked a call telling me this option (so we could get our dog in the right place for when people came over).The workers were thorough in their install, but you could tell they don’t get many of the Google Nest Hello Doorbells. I think with more installs they will be more aware of the process and connections. One of the things we were advised to do was get a new door chime as ours is the original from the 70’s. At the time, we didn’t realize the new chime was wired but not compatible with the nest (once connected there was a constant ring), and so a large portion of time was spent making that work. In hind sight, I wish we would have connected to the original first and if that did not work, then connect to the new one (advise for if you try to install one in future).The work looks great, there was minimal mess, and the door bell functions perfectly. They were on time (if not early), and they were accommodating to our schedule. They were professional whenever we spoke with them. They provided us the best option (instead of a full rewire they added extensions and showed us the safety with doing so, they hid the wire and protected it, made the install look visually appeasing from the outside).My only thing stopping us from giving this company a 5 star review is that there was a travel cost we were not told about for the electricians which added thirty minutes to our time. When we googled our house to the Robart office, we are a 17 minute drive, and this took us off guard. If you hire them (or any electrician) I would suggest you clarify any additional costs to the hourly charge so you are also not taken off guard, and can know what to fully expect. It could also be that this is what all electricians do, and we were not aware of it (first time ever working with one). Any information we can pass on to others is always helpful. We would still highly recommend this company for electrical work.
