Nordegg Backcountry Cottage

Loved our stay at the Backcountry cottage!!!! Will go back again for sure! It was so homey and well appointed. The kitchen was set up and ready to cook a feast...we loved all the extras.

What an absolutely wonderful place! We stayed there with friends over the Christmas holidays and it was amazing! Upon arrival we noticed the driveway wrapped around the whole house and was laid out perfectly with plenty of room to maneuver and park our trucks and trailers (with many ATV trails accessable right from the property!) which is a huge bonus! The cabin is absolutely perfect sitting back into the trees with lots of privacy! Inside they had a wonderfully decorated Christmas tree in the living room and little gifts for everyone under it (Thank you so much!) Along with a wonderful basket of snacks, hot chocolate and other little treats on the counter! There were even little bags of bird food for the kids with notes on them about handfeeding the friendly whiskey jacks who live around the peaceful 4 acre lot! What a private and beautiful area... The fire pits on the property were also ready to go with lots of kindling and firewood already waiting! Our stay was wonderful and I honestly can't list all the fantastic little details they have worked so hard towards! One thing I can say for sure is that you can really see the pride they have in what they do from the moment you get there.10/10, 5 Stars and will absolutely stay here again!

I had the pleasure of staying in Nordegg Back Country Cottage while working, and absolutely LOVED IT! We had some long days filming in and around town, and Stacey was such a wonderful and responsive host. The cottage is absolutely gorgeous... with many places to relax and sit around a fire (inside and out). We arrived late in the night, to a beautiful snack basket... which we devoured... and I had the best sleep I've had in many... many months. It's a great place to stay while working in town with fast internet, and I will definitely stay here again both professionally or for a vacation!Thank you again, Stacey. We loved your home away from home surrounded in nature, in the beautiful town of Nordegg.

This property was a very enjoyable experience for our guests. From the exemplary hosting, to the well complimented cabin, it made for a very relaxing stay in the wilderness. Stacey was always going above and beyond to ensure our comfort; and understanding of the property was ensured. Easily the best experience we’ve had while renting vacation properties. A beautiful county cottage nestled in the outdoorsy Nordegg area. The hosts are amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay special. The cottage had everything (and more) for a getaway. There’s so much to see and do in the area that your weekend will fly by. Don’t forgot to sit and relax in front of one of the outdoor fireplaces and snuggle up with a coffee and watch the wildlife! Can’t wait to see this property in the summer!!!
