Burlington Water Purification Plant

I've had so many issues with my tap water, over the years but worsened; recently. The issues are, my water often, smells like feces or highly chlorinated. Boiling my water for tea or putting it through my Brita DOES NOT REMOVE THE CHLORINE TASTE OR SMELL!I was told, by a woman at Halton Region, that it's probably water that's been sitting in my pipes and when there's been a storm/heavy rain-fall, extra chlorine is added to our water. She told me to run my (cold) water for about 15 minutes and that 'should' clear it up.Because we're charged for every drop of water, that's, LITERALLY, like washing my money down the drain!I just finished watching a documentary about water-purification in France. Maybe Canada can take notes from how France purifies water ... WITHOUT ANY CHLORINE/CHEMICALS!!!Wouldn't it be wonderful to have our (tap/drinking) water purified the way it's done in France?Thank you!
