McBurney Park, Skeleton Park
I love skeleton park. It is in a great location. They have a huge cannon out front that is not in service, but shows history of the town. The park for your children is a decent looking park very open space for your kids to run around and get some energy out. Bring your dogs. It’s a beautiful walk and it has gorgeous trees.

McBurney Park, also known as Skeleton Park, is truly at the heart of Kingston. Throughout the year it hosts art fests, craft and cultural fairs, and live band jams, winter skating, several parades also start at the park. The park's neighbours both support and benefit from the family friendly amenities at the park.

Lovely playground with lots of trees so that you're not in the bright sun.

Always fun in the summer. And just as playfully serene at night despite its haunting captivation over you and the lights moon.

Beautiful small park. Perfect for dog walking. Fairly well lit at night. Playground equipment for children. Basketball court. Splash pad is almost finished. Lots of community use.

We visited during an art festival, so there were extra amenities including outhouses with hand-washing stations and a recycling trailer etc...But even without the perks, the park itself has a number of benches, a splash pad, a mixed-age playpark including a geodesic net/rope climbing structure. There are some large trees to provide shade and grassed areas for ample play or picnic room.PlaygroundPlayground includes a sand box where local residents have donated some shovels and toys for the children of Skeleton Park""
