I purchased the 4 hour introductory blacksmith class for my son for Christmas and it was the best. Donnie was so cool, patient and very informative. My son had a great time making a knife and Donnie let me watch so I was able to share the experience. A+++

I booked a class for my daughter and I. Donnie was awesome, educating us on different types of steel, temperatures, and techniques for forging. Very polite and great conversation in general. I would definately recommend and book again!!

Wife bought me a gift certificate for the blacksmithing class and it was a ton of fun! Donnie was a great instructor, super patient and helpful. We actually finished the project a little early, so he was generous enough to give me a quick lesson on welding as well! Would recommend this for anyone thats interested in blacksmithing. Thanks again, Donnie!

The blacksmithing class at CJ Forge was a lot of fun! Donnie was an amazing instructor, very passionate about blacksmithing and eager to teach people about the craft. After an introduction to the tools and some basic techniques we were free to explore whatever we wanted and express ourselves. It was a lot of fun, definitely something unique and worth checking out. Sure to be an amazing date spot.

My wife and I had a great time blacksmithing for the first time! Donnie was a fabulous instructor. We learned quite a bit, made more than we thought we would, and had a lot of fun! We highly recommend!

My wife and I took a couples class and we LOVED it. The class was fun and we learned a ton. I'd recommend it even if you don't want to learn about forging (you will learn the basics whether you want to or not), because it's a fun way to spend an afternoon.I made a letter opener and a couple of hooks, while my wife made a hook and a key rack.

Incredible shop with a talented owner smith. Donnie was extremely easy going and knowledgeable. He has a wealth of experience and is looking to share it with new up-and-coming smiths, or those just looking to hit some metal for the first time. I felt at ease practicing the basic skills of forging while we made some foundational tools of the trade. Will be taking more classes and hope to see a lot more of this seriously cool space.

Was gifted a class and had a great experience. Donnie was very knowledgeable and made learning a new skill very easy. I would highly recommend a class to anyone who enjoys working with their hands, or is generally curious about the art of forging!
