Lulu Island Campsite
We had a great weekend here. The Max-Lulu portage had a few trees down, but nothing too difficult. Make sure to bring an ax/saw, work gloves, and long pants to harvest firewood in case there's none there to burn. Also be sure to check the weather beforehand; we got caught in a thunderstorm and it was a bit unnerving being stuck on a small island. There are also a couple of large dead branches overhead that could pose a risk in high winds. Overall, though, it was an amazing trip. It was a unique experience and quite peaceful. I'd definitely go again. We didn't have cell reception, but from what I could tell you might get some with T-Mobile or AT&T.
