Miller Waste Systems

Haven't been able to get anything dropped off here since the Pandemic. Facility is understaffed, only has 1 scale, has huge line-ups and if you're waiting with <1 hour before close you'll get turned away at the gates.Plenty of other dumps within 20 minutes of this one with significantly less lines.

Their staff give his direction and are helpful. Very efficient overall but gets busy around 2 hours before closing everyday

This location is superior than all dumps across Canada. The staff are friendly, responsive, helpful and you can tell they love there jobs. I will drive out of my way to go to this location. Thank you all for the amazing service day in and day out.

Most rude workers I've ever experienced. Didn't know it was okay to swear at customers. Lady who took my payment was very nice but the workers in the actual dump have some major issues

They close 5 minutes before time stated to close. Just so you know.

The guys that work here are amazing!!My “new to the dump” husband started clearing out an entire cube van full of stuff. After there were 3 items left, someone came and told us he had put it all in the wrong spot!Instead of being angry, they were so funny and helped us put it where it was supposed to go. Five stars all the way :)

1km lineup of traffic stretching almost to Thornton road… and didn’t move for 20 mins. No idea what’s going on, but I bailed - will go to the Ritson transfer station tomorrow instead where you’re in and out in 10 minutes.If you’re coming here be prepared to waste a lot of time, pack your patience. And a meal.

Terrible. Pickering Miller waste in Pickering closed today. Person sitting in front of the gate has been informing cars and cars to go to gfl or Miller waste in whitby. A trail of cars decided to go to gfl because it was closer, still in Pickering. Line up was ridiculous and notice once car was able to go in then had gone out again, we don't know why. Once it was my turn the person in drive in window informed me that their was a flat rate of 90 plus dollars, that is why people are turning back. This is after waiting for 45 minutes in line. You figured they should have put a sign at the entrance stating the flat rate so people wouldn't have to line up. After the awful experience. I figured to go to Miller waste in whitby which the person on Pickering said as the other option. This person sitting in front of the Miller waste Pickering is no help. How can you have an employee not know the address of their other Miller waste. I asked and others asked where is it in whitby, all he would say is I don't know Google it" Google maps was no help because we were all directed to Garrard street in whitby. A caravan of cars arrived there and we were told we are in the wrong place and we were all given a list of dump site and of course the Miller waste in whitby is way across South of whitby but Google maps directed us north of Taunton Rd. So Google maps needs revamping. Actually this Miller waste employee telling drivers to go to whitby should have the actual address so we could have avoided all this. My beef is that our yard waste was not collected for 1 month and when they came today those collectors where picking an choose which to be picked up. If it's heavy they skipped it. Of course its heavy due to the rain we have been having. My husband and I even change bags because all had holes due to soaking wet. So I saw them stop and pick up the bag but put it down and just drive away. That's when I came out trying to catch them but they are so fast. That's when I saw I few houses on my street their yard waste was left. This is why I ended up going directly to Miller waste. A trip supposedly to be a 30 minute trip max ended up 2 and a gal hour. Town of Ajax should look into this problem. Those doing the collection are picking and choosing what to collect. Shame on you town of ajax. Shame on you our mayor. 1 month of no yard waste collections and when they finally did they just pick and choose."

2 yard waste bags 1/3 full with trimmings that I easily threw into the yard waste pile, I bag of regular garbage and 3 empty paint cans = 140KG ?? I think not. I think a scale calibration is in order!!
