Ontario Nurses Association

I realize this is for nurses, but, has the Ontario Nurses association ever bothered to Teach their ER nurses how to interact with psychiatric patients who are in physical pain and their mental illness flares up as a result of coping, with their conditions legitimately documented by medical doctors. I was just in the QCH yet again to try and figure out what was wrong with me. I have Chronic pain conditions, Heart Problems and when in severe gastro spasms I moan out loud, this annoyed one of your nurses she was not rude but firmly asked why i was doing that so ui told her i do that at home alone. I know it's a very hard job but when your body is falling apart and you know it is not all your mental health as per your dr awaiting an urgent test. Why is it nurses take their frustrations out on sick patients. I have been told by doctors i get chest pain and shortness of breath nausea gastro pain to go to ER i do my best to figure it out. I report good compliments to patient liason and if the negative is reported they call and take a strip off me up one side and down the other. all i am saying if they want to be a nurse how is crying out in pain a crime. its how i have coped since 5 yrs old. i said thankyou till it killed me yet there is no pleasing them. please i didn't abuse them Are nursed not supposed to have compassion i've been accused of doing it for attention not true its how i cope how can your nurses be a wee bit more compassionate. I am not stupid i used to word in the medical field and Covid took a toll on them and all of us. I have even signed your online petitions supporting all your cause, yet all i get whn i need intervention is an attitude of here comes the nut case again. Thankyou.
