Eton-West Construction is very impressed with the temporary shotcrete shoring walls completed by CMC Shotcrete on our recent project in Calgary. CMC went out of their way to uphold the schedule commitment they made to our project even with all the terrible weather delays we have been facing lately. One of the worst companies where I have worked, they agree to you to show up for work without even crossing a word with you in person, it was all through acquaintances who invite you to work, or through text messages. They are only interested in trying to cover the job so as not to lose their contract. They send you to the job site without informing you the least you need or what PPE you require. I also saw several who did not speak the language to attend an orientation session. Many workers without status or permission to work or with irregularities in payments.
