Devil's Punchbowl Parking Lot
Of 4 waterfalls we visited in the Stoney Creek side of Hamilton, the Devil's Punchbowl was the most easy and most impressive to view. As winter was turning to spring, water was falling, presumably from snow melt.In March 2022, the parking lot was accessible. Paid $7.50 with a credit card, got a ticket to scan on exit.There isn't an obvious way down to see the waterfall from below, the safer approach is via the Lower Punchbowl Falls on the Bruce Trail near Mountain Avenue South, from King Street. Across the road is the Dofasco Trail upstream, that we didn't follow on a muddy day.

Medium-sized parking lot. You need to pay $8.00 from the machine before you exit. Looks like it requires maintenance before the season.

It was completely dry when I visited. They charge you for parking and you end up seeing nothing but a huge crater". The view on the other end was the only good thing to look at."

Total scam. Once you’re in the parking lot there is no way to get out except to pay the $7.50 ticket. There is nothing to look at here except a partial skyline of Hamilton that’s half blocked off by construction fencing and vegetation. The view of Devil’s Punchbowl is terrible as you only see about 1/3 of the fall. It’s pathetic how desperate Hamilton Conservation is trying to make a dime here. At least invest in some better lookouts and park support infrastructure if you’re going to charge money.

Amazing city view, waterfalls and hike.Visit after rain.Safe hiking down to the falls only where the Trail closed" sign is next to the parking lot.Paid parking. Open 9am to 6pm."

Fair amount of parking. I dont really mind paying the 7 dollars to help contribute to keeping it clean and preserved. Lots to do other than just the falls

Devil's Punchbowl Parking Lot
Parking was closed but parked on a side street and did a nice 8km walk. Freezing cold but so nice. Will come back in the spring and run the trail (flat).
