Riverside Park Beach
I highly recommend Riverside Park as a fantastic place to visit. The incredible river view is absolutely breathtaking, providing a serene and picturesque atmosphere. The park also offers live music, which adds a vibrant and lively ambience to the surroundings. Moreover, the water games are a source of endless entertainment, with people of all ages joyfully splashing around and having a great time. Riverside Park truly captures the essence of fun and relaxation, making it the perfect destination for anyone seeking a memorable outdoor experience.

Riverside Park Beach
We were here in June 2017, the weather was sunny and hot. This park was the ideal place to be, plenty of tree shade, as well as being near the river. There are plenty of seats scattered around the park, as we had a good walk round. Kiosks to buy ice cream, drinks, much needed on a day like this. Plenty families having a good time, as we were. The place to have fun, or just come and chill, this park caters for all.

Riverside Park Beach
For a beach in the middle of a city it has it all. Fishing, swimming, paddling, boating, walking, bathing, water park, ice cream, food trucks, playground, tennis courts, basketball, gigantic trees, huge lawn, stage with live music, paved trail, bathrooms, and ice cream nearby.Beach is packed sand, good for kids, lifeguard during summer, and water is decent. Watch for drug paraphernalia, but city workers do a good job of cleaning up.

Beautiful large park on the river. Walking paths, beach area, waterpark for kids, concession stand & bandstand. Tennis courts & community garden. Right downtown. Hotels & Event center right by.April 27, 22 - majority of park & riverwalk under construction. Playground still available but Concession is torn down. (Photo's added)

Riverside Park Beach
A beach on the Thompson river. Very nice. It’s nice and sandy. The beach is in Riverside park. There are washroom facilities available and a change room. There is a nice pier and walkway right beside the beach.
