Absolutely not acceptable that the lineup for self checkout was lined up to the produce section. The staff needs to monitor the line and when it gets too long call in for extra help there's no use having 24 self check machines if you don't use them. This was just wrong.

I have travelled 34 US States and 5 Provinces, and THIS Walmart is superb! Whoever runs it should teach ALL other Walmarts to amp up their game!We were here a year ago and saw squatters in the parkinglot, they panhandled us. But this time, we could barely get our rv parked bcuz the parking lot was full of shoppers vehicles! The garden center was primo and the auto insurance place went above and beyond for us.

I appreciate all the deals however some things should be reviewed by management. Why they would put a bunch of items on sale after you pass through the check-outs heading towards the south exit is beyond my imagination.Another upset is when they close a bunch of check-outs when it's busy. The last thing shoppers want is to be stuck in long line after a busy day. Like everyone else were concerned about the steady high prices. Are they gouging the public on some items or...?

Terrible changes at Walmart. They are clearly pulling out all stops to deter thieves but the result is a completely hostile shopping experience. I will continue to reduce my spending there as much as possible.

As we were walking isles to find what we needed there were loud crashes, teens laughing loud and running around the store. There were many in all areas. We were almost hit by a flying football and not one staff did anything about it. It was a large play place for the teens! You could hear them yelling for each other and screeching! Not impressed.

Garden centre had very healthy looking stock and friendly helpful staff. In my opinion, Hamburger and hotdog bun selection is way better than at the Chilliwack real Canadian superstore. The women's toiletries section again is way better for selection and varieties than at the Real Canadian Superstore. Prices can't be beat! Things to keep in mind for the next visit.

Bought a pool cover at full price off the shelf and when I got home and opened up the sealed box the cover was wet inside with a bunch of leaves and dirt. Doesn’t seem like employees are checking the returned items and just throw them back on the shelf :/

I attended Walmart in Chilliwack BC Canada on June 12 2023 at approximately 16:20 to return 25 L jugs of Castrol motor oil, as I had mistakenly purchased the wrong viscosity.I told the associate that I did not have a receipt. I stated to the associate that I had purchased the wrong motor oil and that one of the jugs the seal was still intact, the second jug the seal was almost broken before I realized that I had purchased the wrong oil, although when you look at it the seal was still intact.Associate handed me a little slip, and said that I had to know the exact date the oil was purchased, which I did not know as I have several cars and motorcycles and buy oil randomly. The associate stated that she could not help me since I could not remember the exact date of purchase and the transaction amount for each jug was over $50 each. I asked the associate to show me the policy where it stated that.I will give her credit she did try to find it in her manual, and also asked another associate who could not provide the information either. Both associates stated that’s what they were told as to the policy.I asked to speak to a store manager as the portion of the policy that was posted on the wall, clearly states.* some restrictions conditions & exceptions apply*Assistant manager later known as Nav, the associates explained the situation. I asked Nav to provide the exceptions as part of the return policy. Her first response was “You can look it up online”The portion of the return policy posted on the wall it clearly states“ if you have a question or concern, ask for the store manager or any other member of our management staff.”which I reminded her of. At this point, she starts looking it up, and then states she cannot find it. Nav then stated why didn’t I do an exchange? I said I have no idea what the exchange policy is. It appeared out of frustration and been challenged regarding policy, Nav then authorized a gift card.I stated to Nav if you are challenged on the return policy, it’s not for you to say “you can look it up online” Then she states managers decide exceptions.I stated where does it say that, she had no answer.I did say to Nav I will be writing a formal complaint, allowing her the opportunity to make notes of the interaction prior to me writing in my complaint.I would not be writing a formal complaint against NAV, the assistant manager, if she had taking responsibility for her actions, although when you say “You can look it up online” and “managers decide exceptions”that’s not a quality of a manager, in my opinion. The mechanics of the store are easy to learn, although you should know the return policy inside and out if you’re challenged.

Placed an online order for pick up and never received any confirmation. When it was time to pick up my order I still hadn't received any confirmation so I called the online customer service. They said they couldn't help me so I asked for a supervisor and they hung up on me. I tried their chat function instead the second time. They couldn't help me because I had to call the store directly. Called the store they said I have to come into the store for them to help me. I explained I am 4 hours drive one way which includes a ferry ride for $115 to cancel the online order that they haven't picked yet that says delayed but they have no idea why it's delayed and won't look into themselves. They said I would have to come pick it up whenever it finally is ready (it's already past my pick up time) and I placed the order 2 days ago! It's only 2 items, 4 total quantity. It was supposed to be picked up now but they said wait until the end of the day for the update. End of the day? For an order that had a timed pick up? That was placed 2 days ago? I am not asking my friend to drive a second day to pick it up on my behalf when he lives an hour away and was going to be near there anyway so now I should inconvenience him for 2 hours of driving because they can't figure out how to pick 2 items? Wow! Just wow. Once I get my refund I will never shop at any Walmart again! It was a big mistake ever shopping there to begin with. No common sense at Walmart!
