Higher Grounds Coffee House
A hidden gem in downtown Barrie. A must visit place on a weekend where you can sit inside and enjoy the atmosphere. Everyone in there are always friendly and you cant beat the fare pricing. I suggest trying the grilled cheese or the sausage brekky sandwich on a cheese bagel.

I went in the other day and met a few nice people, i would like to participate in the community and would like to participate as soon as the lockdown is over. Most profits go back into the community and i have always searched for a place in Barrie to give back through volunteering. I look forward to working there.It seems like a great atmosphere.

This is a short walk from the bus station on Dunlop Street. They follow the vaccine certificate rules. The coffee is quite good and not too hot. The staff was kind and we had a good conversation.***This place does check for ID and vaccine QR codes***

Awesome coffee if ur getting the latte its not as strong as some other places consider getting an extra shot. That Chipotle chicken panini is amazing as well would highly recommend it. Personally I like to ask for a little extra time in the grill.Staff are great as well and the Cafe is very jice 10/10 would go again so much better than some other places near by like *cough cough* centurion

Great idea, great little place.Fantastic coffee menu, very reasonable prices. Perfect for that little snack. I really enjoyed this little place, much better and different than going to Tim Horton or Starbucks.

Daniella was so nice and kind. I had forgotten my wallet and had only change; not enough for the coffee I really needed. Haha! The last vice to go, only I ain't letting it go see? I think Charlie Heston said it best in reference to his long arm weapons. Pry it from my cold dead hands" : replace guns with coffee and there I AM. (How did we get on the subject of me? I was recognizing Daniella's Performance). Back to HG. So we made reasonable credit arrangements and I told her that the goody Deacon would hear of it and I know how he scrounged around the internet looking for worldly affirmation. Well he won't get any from me! I do pass on my review.of the coffee shop. It was an excellent experience and Daniella should be promoted. Absolutely THE BEST place around. I am currently eating their breakfast bagel on my couch and writing a review and drinking a Peppermint Fog.The food is delicious, Ive had both their breakfast and lunch items and honestly it feels like home. AND I've only ever had them deliver.Thank you very much for your service.Id much rather order from you than any of the chain coffee shops.Love Love LOVE!!!!
