The coaches were amazing!! The led a fun, intense 1.5 hours of basketball. They focused on improving skills, respecting their team mates and opponents and having fun. My son can't wait to go back!

Buyer beware with this org. I organized with several other families to put our children in small group training" last winter. The session dates listed on the site were almost complete at the time for our local location. I called and emailed their staff (Alexandra) several times to confirm that more future dates would be added to our local location before pushing the other families to join in purchasing. After their staff Alex confirmed more dates would indeed be added the 3 families purchased 5 passes each. We were only able to attend the last few before the dates they listed stopped. One of those dates during that time was canceled do to staff illness. Because Alex confirmed more dates would be listed we continued to monitor the website and send her emails requesting to be notified when they are listed.  She assured us several times that more dates were going to be posted. In the end they stopped holding them in our area altogether. This might be due to the inexperience of the staff and the business savvy of the organization but when asked we were told they couldn't refund us.There was no acknowledgement on their part however that we had been assured more dates would be added so told us to go ahead and purchase the 5 pass. 3 Families complained and asked for the remainder to be refunded. They simply directed us to sign up for the remaining purchased sessions at a different location 40 mins away at another school  (note 2 families don't own vehicles! ) which was fairly surprising given the extent I went to confirm the information before purchasing. All 3 families complained and all were ignored. All of our money was kept. It was seriously surprising and a terribly poor way to handle it by the organization."

Loved my time at BWT. Mike runs great leagues for adults and programs for kids. Organized, super communicative about all information regarding the program you sign up for and is happy to hear any concerns. You won’t be disappointed.

I can only speak to the skill development programs -- but it is top-notch! Players are fully engaged and the vibe is very positive.

My son has done their camps, house league, and this past year was on their U13 rep team. I have been very impressed by the coaching (especially on the rep team) and also what a good group of kids are in their programs

I personally can't get behind an organization that one side says speaks of values like respect and professionalism, and then they turn around and exploit youth by offering unpaid internships. An honorarium does not constitute payment of wages.Take a look at the positions they are posting for interns - interns are basically driving the entire business. SHAME on you!

Better Tournament for the Boys Competitive League and management needed. For the amount of money parents are paying kids shouldn’t be sitting on a bench with 20 others boys vs. a team of 10 and playing LESS THAN 2 min on tournament day (see picture - result of teams being thrown together last minute - boys that have never played together have to on tournament day and each get seconds to the court). Tournaments are rushed, and not well thought of and management isn’t receptive to parents feedback - even after a group of parents collectively shred their thoughts and voiced their child's frustration through email (never received a response). My children and I wont be returning.

I registered my son to the house league program for Spring term 2020. With the Covid crisis, it has been pushed then cancelled as expected. After several emails to ask for a status (credit? refund?), I received beginning September an answer proposing me 3 options: 1) going virtual, 2) wait for an In-Person program to open-up but noting that TDSB has cancelled all permits until at least January 1st 2021, 3) apply the credit to future program in-person or virtual until March 13th 2021. We can't go virtual and obviously nobody can predict a return to TDSB gymnasiums for organizations like BWT at the moment. Concerning a full refund, I've been told I should have asked for it in March... But in March there was no question to cancel it!! I feel BWT should have a policy more adapted to the COVID Crisis. Unlike BWT, many similar organizations have communicated throughout the past months and looked for solutions that make parents willing to keep their kids with these clubs. The lack of communication is not acceptable. I feel this organization is a FRAUD.November 6th: Still no answer after sending this enclosed email so trying again Google review to have a response? I also filed a complaint with the Consumer Protection Ontario organization. Thanks
