Sharp knife shop

As a first-time knife buyer, I had a wonderful experience at the store. The gentlemen with the full-arm tattoos who helped us, was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and told us the story/history behind each knife he showcased. Once we picked out the knife, he also sharpened it infront of us, which was just straight up ASMR. I can’t wait to one day buy the remaining pieces of this knife set.

My brother-in-law recommended SHARP to purchase my knife set. Great place if you’re looking for Japanese knives great selection and great guys working there very knowledgeable. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for high end knives that are affordable.

We Live in Toronto. A family relative is visiting us from California. She asked that I take her to SHARP knife shop in Hamilton. She knows her knives very well so I didn't question her. We made the drive today. Definitely worth it. Beautiful place. The guy who helped us out was fantastic. Nothing cheap but you get what you pay for. You see and feel the quality in the knives and other products as well. Will return again.

Gage and his crew are awesome to work with and could not be any friendlier or knowledgable. I had been in the market for a long time to upgrade my 'good' knives and when it was time to make the choice, selecting SHARP was a no brainer.Amazing quality, great value and above all, employees listening to what it is you want to achieve with your knives. Not once did I feel pressured to upgrade or look at something way out of my budget. Gage listened to what I was going to use them for and then offered several options.I just recently got a chance to visit in person and picked up a carrying bag and some knife guards. Can't to come up with another excuse to buy a new piece for the collection.Highly recommended.

Bought my first high end knife here. Staff are really knowledgeable and don’t push you into higher priced knives. They take the time to listen to your needs and recommend a set of knives that fit your needs. Highly recommend anyone shop here for their knifes.

Went in looking to purchase my first piece of Japanese steel and was not disappointed.I'd spent days reading about endless options online, and realized I needed to handle some of them in person to truly get a feel for what would be best for me.Jake and Benjamin were super helpful, patient, and informative. They really know their stuff, and I appreciate that they speak from experience. They didn't try to persuade me to one knife or another, they simply let me look around, pick them up, and ask questions.l couldn't wait to get home and try my knives. I'm cutting fruits and veg just to explore and experiment. It's SO fun, and truly a new - madly enjoyable - world. If you're like me and had never held knives of this quality before - don't hesitate. You can't go wrong paying these guys a visit.Building a relationship with real people who could guide me along was important to me as well. That said, I'm also excited to attend a sharpening class soon.
