Kinergy Canine Dog Training

I've been taking lessons with Kinergy Canine Dog Training for a few months and it has helped me and my puppy tremendously. While getting help to teach specific commands is very helpful, Katherine's attention to also teaching handlers how to communicate with their dog in an effective and consistant way made the biggest difference. I also greatly appreciated the personalized feedback and advice.

We just completed our puppy class with Katherine of Kinergy Canine Dog Training. She is excellent at what she does - training us in what to do with our puppies! At times when she used our own dogs as models one can see how good she is with dogs! I highly recommend any new pup owners to attend her series of classes.

I just finished Kinergy Canine Group Puppy Courses with my Aussie puppy.Katherine was a pleasure to work with from registration to our graduation. She was very responsive to my messages and answered all my questions very promptly. During training Katherine was very professional and eager to help each participant in any way possible. Her techniques were very easy to learn and provided much needed success when dealing with my puppy. She always welcomed any questions related to the topic she was teaching that day and she was very happy to help after classes and answer any other questions we had on behaviors at home. We started puppy training with Katherine with a very shy and scared puppy. After the 6 week puppy group sessions, it’s like we have a whole new dog! He was excited to get there and play with his new friends and meet new people within the last few sessions. I would absolutely recommend this to get your basic puppy training in and socialization started at a young age, we couldn’t be happier with the current results and looking forward to continuing what we’ve learned here and hopefully more classes in the future! My puppy benefited so much from the puppy classes and private training. The group classes were a great way to practice in a more distracting environment and provided my puppy an opportunity to play with other dogs. The private classes allowed us to practice more skills and work on specific things. Katherine is professional, organized, and helpful.Highly recommend!

I have started the puppy obedience class and I find it very well structured. Comparing with a class I took elsewhere a decade ago, this class focuses less on giving the paw and basic tricks (supporting us doing this at home) and more on obedience foundations and skills we can build on for handling our puppies.Katherine also provides us with a lot of information and gives us plenty of time to go over any questions we might have.I would highly recommend her and have already done so to friends and family.

We have done both in group classes and private training with Katherine. She. Is. Amazing. Our 2 year old stardard poodle (highly intelligent) developed so much confidence from his private training with Katherine. She was very diligent in trying to help us find the best options based on his many quiks. She listened attentively and asked all the right questions.Our puppy (also a standard poodle) started group classes from a young age (about 4 months). The skills she has learned have been invaluable. We had done puppy training with our older dog through another school previously. Katherine's approach was by far better for helping us to help our puppy learn to control herself and listen.Without Katherine's expertise it would have been much more difficult for us to adjust to having 2 high energy dogs in the house. We are forever greatful!

Our family had a fantastic experience working with Katherine through her puppy training course. She went out of her way to get to know us and our puppy through a detailed introductory call before the classes even began, which gave us great tips to implement right away. The classes themselves were well-designed with socialization and obedience components and provided us with the training structure we, and our puppy, needed. Before, during, and after each session she was available to answer questions and provide advice specific to our bouncy boxer puppy. If we could pick three words to describe Katherine they would be: dedicated, thoughtful, and non-judgmental. She is clearly very experienced in her profession and we would highly recommend her courses. We're looking forward to starting the next course with her on Adult Basic Obedience.

We started private puppy training as soon as we brought our puppy home and Katherine was amazing! She's extremely patient, knowledgable and taught us so much about dogs and how to go about training efficiently and effectively! We have also done the first level puppy course and it was well run with lots of engagement between us and the puppies! Her classes were fun and helped us through different stages of our puppies behaviour.

I highly recommend the basic obedience course. The classes were fun for me and my dog, and the progress in every dog was impressive! My dog needs a bit more space when she's on leash around other dogs, so Katherine made sure my dogs' needs were met while helping me gain confidence in handling her. She really took the time to give me lots of advice for my dog to succeed, and now we want to continue on to another group class with her! Thank you Katherine!
