Cadillac Window Fashions - Shutters and Blinds

This company quoted me $9000 CAD for 18 windows including some room darkening and some electrical maxmar blinds. After I received a second quote for a similar job this merchant brought the price down to $6000 effectively lowering the price by 33%. This practice seems unethical and plain wrong especially for a young couple that just purchased their first home. I have nothing to say regarding quality of blinds or installation as this merchant lost the job.

I couldn't be happier with my Shutters from Cadillac. It was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Stacie came to my home to measure and guided me through the samples. They matched my custom shutters to the paint colour on my trim, and Danny installed them. This is a very professional family business and there is a reason they have been in business for decades. I am thrilled. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for shutters.

I have used Cadillac on three different occasions. They have been great all three times.I had to deal with Ernie and he was great. He gave me options, a great price and great service. His attention to detail is his greatest strength and that is why the California shutters were always installed correctly.

Good product, disorganized service. First time the installer came, nothing was the right size so I had to wait for products to be customized and shipped from the factory again - no apology was offered. One of the blades of the shutters warped after a couple of months, and it was several months of back and forth trying to get next steps for replacement and install. Finally someone showed up to repair it, dropped my speaker that was nearby on the window ledge and a piece broke off the bottom. I found it rolled under the couch - they didn't inform me of any issues. I am happy with the shutters, and the price was great - but I guess you get what you pay for.

the blinds looked good till they started breaking after a couple years. Then years later the valance fell off and we only just realized that it was just hooked onto the bracket but not secured in any way so it fell off from the wind and broke.. Granted it was years later but we only then realized that it was shoddily installed (it was in my parent's house and they are elderly so they didn't notice). The person at customer service was rude and questioned if it was their mistake or ours - basically bad customer service - especially as we paid over $800 for the blinds.. I would never ever recommend to anyone I know..

We saw this company at the home show and they said they would come out and gives us a quote. We received an email a couple of days later telling us to send our window measurements to them by email and then they would gives us a quote. I find this very unprofessional! How can they give a quote when I'm not 100% sure what I'm looking for. I have seen no samples whatsoever. I'm trying to get a professional job done. I need to see samples clearly they don't want my business.
