Dangerous place for all contract workers as you will be treated like scab workers. Company spends donations on large law firms to cover up assaults and abuses of union staff and managers. Upper managers do not replace fired or quit Supervisors or lower Managers so place is kept unsupervised and becomes a dangerous place. Police are not allowed to enter to obtain Video Surveillance as upper managers are afraid of police and NOT female tenants. Female tenants housing is filthy and no priority is kept into non public areas until outside Health & Safety complaints or infestations occur as funding to teach tenants basic life skills for Independent Living and having clean rooms and bodies instead of leaving everything for the nurses. Utilizing lazy staff to teach disabled tenants to stay clean is not a priority as Gov't already pays per tenant so spending is allocated to large law firms to cover up abuses. Physical donations are stored in meeting rooms until staff and managers can pick through grabbing good products then left over's are given to female tenants....I watched kitchen staff celebrate Kitchen Supervisor quitting and being left completely unsupervised by cooking donated New York Strip Steak with eggs for their breakfast while feeding tenants and homeless a basic breakfast. Those female tenants and contract staff are in danger as upper managers are incompetent at their jobs and are usually absent from site. Fred Victor takes Making a profit off the Vulnerable to a new and higher level of evil. LEGAL documentation of not following procedures to report assaults and abuses by their staff will soon be public. Link will be provided once it becomes PUBLIC.

Briefly I had a moment today with someone who was in very bad shape. I didn't know where to go but Fred Victor was close. The two women who greeted him, and who I left him, with seemed to know him and were treating him with such kindness. It is a challenging world. I am so grateful for women like these and place like these.

I understand the need for places like this in Toronto but having groups of over 50people hanging out front with no pants, screaming at bikers, drinking and smoking and shooting up right out front is not the play. I’m begging they put some sort of security in place or create a space inside for people to hangout because it’s scary to think kids have to walk by here.

This place is lawless and is directly responsible for the deterioration of the surrounding neighbourhood.A lack of any meaningful supervision or presence by staff after 5pm means that the front of this building becomes a dangerous gathering place for residents and alike. I personally called the police to come treat an individual this week after a full fledged group attack happened in broad daylight in the middle of the street in front of here. The negligence of this building is criminal. I hope they shut down some day soon if they can’t clean up their act and allocate appropriate resources to keeping the area safe that they are operating in.

I was there over twenty years ago and the staff and clients had a huge impact on who I am today. I was an American who was homeless in Toronto and they accepted me as one of their own I will forever be grateful

Overall I can't complain much, it's the first solo living experience I've had in the better part of a decade (I'm 33). Only have experience with the transitional housing program, on floor 2. Generally it lasts for 1 year and your either moved somewhere else in the building or moved elsewhere with geared to income housing. I will attempt to be honest and humble. I'm mentally and physically ill and I've been dependant on mood altering substances since 13. I know I'm not easy to get along with and that's why I'm writing this, the staff here are truly amazing people they've always shown me respect and have been beyond helpful and supportive. Given that most of them are tragically and in my opinion criminally payed minimum wage to deal with the kinds of things you would expect from a housing solution for the poor & homeless, addicted, mentally ill, they deserve better. They are the true difference makers in the fights against poverty and aiding harm reduction initiatives. If anything we need more Fred Victor's and safe injection sites. During my stay on the 2nd floor Carl Fayda Alexa Jessica and Icra really stood out as going above and beyond what the job called for.

You guys are an absolutejoke. I have a severely mentally ill brotherwho's involved in your court diversionsector. Michelle Gabriel and JorgeHildago are not taking anything seriouslyand doing the bare minimum they can tokeep themselves employed. I just triedconnecting with Jorge today (after hedidn't answer my phone calls for over aweek) and he was completely dismissive, kept sighing throughout our conversation(like I was wasting his time), and I couldhear his GPS over the phone while I wastalking with him. Travelling somewhere at2:45pm? Ok. Our call got disconnected"and he never called me back. Shows howmuch he cares. What does yourorganization *actually* do? Because youhaven't been helpful in the least bit formy brother. And if he can't get help

Watch out for the staff here. Especially the property manager Ashley Freeman. The clients and homeless are not to blame. I love caring for people. It's the hostile work environment and if you have dealings with them, many of the staff will make sure to backstab you and spread rumours about incidents to management if they could, just to get you fired; When they really should be protecting their own coworkers. Despicable! Especially coming from the care industry. The staff are also very rude to contractors and couriers who genuinely don't even have any training on the organization's policies and they expect people to know everything without even any briefing. And they call themselves social workers... how about they start by showing some manners?!

Good shelter, people seemed nice on site. Was not there long, just came down with my friend who was meeting someone there.

Great place if your not feeling well and need to find someone that can help make you feel better. Safe injection site is a great idea and being a harm reduction building definitely helps give you the illusion of a safe environment
