Halton Eye Care - Dr. Aneesha Jain & Dr. David S. Sooklal

Dr. Jain was very helpful and answered all my questions and concerns. Everything went smoothly and all the tests were performed in a safe and clean environment. It was a wonderful experience overall. Would recommend everyone to visit Halton Eye Care in Oakville for their eye exams.

I came to this eye care centre because of the glowing reviews; however, the customer service that I received was beyond disappointing and unexpected. Dr. Sooklal was pushy and I felt that his main objective during the appointment was just to increase sales by recommending the priciest options, as well as pressuring me to purchase blue light glasses. This made the entire appointment feel unprofessional, as I did not feel like my questions and concerns were adequately addressed or even listened to. Leaving this appointment, I felt also frustrated, as at times there were certain comments made about my vision that made me feel inferior. It's unacceptable that any place should make a customer feel like that. Unfortunately because of my experience, I would not be returning back and please do not reply back with an insincere apology. If you can't find my record in the system, that's because I would like to keep my privacy in this situation and wanted to let others know in case they experience this as well in the future.

My first ever experience in Canada with an optometrist. The doctor and staff were beyond amazing. Firstly about the staff they call you prior to the appointment and they will give a heads up a day before. About the doctor she was so patient and I had a lot of questions to ask since it was first time, she was patient with me and answered all my queries and doubts. I felt comfortable and welcoming when I visited them. Overall had a amazing experience with them. I highly recommended.

Dr. Aneesha is incredibly kind and gracious with her care. She took the time to answer many of my questions as this is my first time in need of glasses. She really educated me through the process and gave me a great deal of comfort. I'm so glad I visited her and will definitely be going back in due time.The entire staff of this establishment is really kind and helpful it was a fantastic experience.

Always good to new potential patients. Pay no attention to an old customer who got the glasses several years ago. Sorry Dr. David, don’t have a chance to meet you.PS. They do not always sound that good in their replies and don’t give out privacy credentials like me.

I recently saw Dr.Sooklal regarding an eye infection. He was very thorough, kind and took the time to explain instructions for medication and also recommended further care for my eyes. Excellent patient care and would highly recommend for yearly eye exam or any eye health concerns.

Staff at the front are so welcoming and helpful, and Dr. Sooklal has always diligently cared and helped with any and all concerns I, along with my family, have. Dr.Jain and her team are wonderful and professional. She saw me right away when I called her clinic. She was able to help me and correctly diagnose the problem with me eye. She was also kind enough to continue to follow up on my recovery. My family and I have now switched to Halton Eye Care and are so happy we have found a team of professionals who are passionate about helping other.
