Amazing hidden gem just 50 minutes north of Edmonton. The staff is incredible and accommodating, always a good time and great experience at WGC. One of the biggest grass driving ranges around, full-size practice green and sand traps to tune up your swing before you hit the course. The course is one of the most unique layouts with two very different 9's. If you're coming from the city I'd recommend booking 27 holes... after 18 you'll want to do it all over again.

What a gem! Can't say our day could have been better. Course offers some wonderful holes, both on the older 9 and the newer holes.Pros:- tees and greens were immaculate.-Sandwich at the turn was incredible, and for the price of a hot dog at most courses.-Range is fabulous. Grass tees. Free warm up bucket.- Fun little bridges all over. One Swilican bridge clone.- Brand new clubhouse. Seemed perfect.Cons:- some weeds on the fairways and rough. Can't expect perfection in my view.All in all we had a great day. Super friendly staff at the proshop desk, food counter, and on the beverage cart. Thanks to the management for doing a great job.Update for June 2023. This is still a super course. Yes, it retains character of the old course and the new (like many older country courses do), and yes, it has some fairway growth issues due to some repeated flooding, but the staff is doing everything possible.It's a quiet, friendly course. Well worth the drive as it's a good value. Go on a Wednesday when the have a deal and it's even better value.

We don't golf but stayed here while Lori had eye surgery in Westlock the sites were better than the campsite in Westlock but after I got all set up I used the restroom in the clubhouse and noticed the water in the toilet was not clear I asked and they told me it was well water but tested OK to drink I open not to use it or even use it for dishes or showers on hauled town water in a 5 gallon water jerry can I carry for times like this. I won't camp here again.

Good and fun course. Stay clear of sand traps they can be hard, looks like they are trying to make them better. Some long standing members can be rude and entitled. Lots of players do no fix ball marks unfortunately, some members some not. Making steps to have cart paths through out the whole course. Course is gorgeous and challenging. Doesn't always feel like you're hitting the same shot over and over. Really good quality for the dollar. Limited signage but hadn't had an issue of knowing where to go. July 2021 New club house fully open. Kitchen is open, has fantastic food and staff.

This course seems to get a bad rap for the customer service side but I've had nothing but good experiences here. The course is in great condition this season, one of the carts I was driving had a ball joint failure and they didn't accuse me of anything, they just brought the cart out and replaced it. Very challenging and great conditions at this time.

Nice shape and easy to play for the senior golfer. Club house is in nice shape with recent renovations well done.

Course is very dry, but the staff are great food is awesome and best of all a very challenging layout that requires a lot of straight shots. Greens are also in very good condition.

Golfed here with a group of guys this past weekend. Had an excellent time. They were very accommodating for our group. The course is challenging, fun to play and you cannot beat the price. Staff was very friendly and we will return, for sure. A hidden gem in Alberta.
