Juliana is not only an amazingly talented photographer, she is also one of the kindest, open hearted people I have had the pleasure of knowing. I felt completely at ease and comfortable during our maternity and newborn shoots. She is professional, focussed and a true artist.My husband and I are forever grateful for the beautiful photographs of such a special time in our lives. They are timeless and perfect. Juliana is a very professional and accommodating photographer. We were looking for a photographer at the last minute for maternity session ( my water broke and I had to stay in hospital). she is so accommodating by helping us to find a makeup and hair stylist. The photo session was longer than we planned and we felt happy and satisfied afterall. She would communicate with you throughout the session to make sure you are happy with what have been done.We would for sure recommend Juliana for professional photography.

We have done two family photo sessions with Juliana so far and we could not be happier with the results. Juliana is so personable & professional. She really put the kids at ease for the family sessions, which is so important. I cannot say enough good things about the session itself & the beautiful images we received. I have only positive things to say about my experience with Juliana of Spark & Whimsy Photography. I had the pleasure of having Juliana photograph me when I was pregnant and I am absolutely thrilled with the photos I received. She made me feel comfortable, at ease and simply gorgeous during the shoot itself - which is quite the feat when you’re 7 months pregnant! She provided the perfect amount of direction and even brought a few outfits for me to wear. I had the best time with her and was even happier when I received my photos. The way she captures light is truly magical. I will cherish these photographs for years to come - thank you for capturing such a special time in my life.

Juliana was really great to work with. She photographed my wedding this summer. I was planning from out of town and she was easily available by email for any of my questions. On the day of she was organized and professional, getting all of our requested shots and poses. She sent us a preview of our photos super quickly which we really appreciated. The online gallery with our full set of photos was very easy to use. The photos turned out amazing, very high quality. I am very glad I chose her to take my wedding photos! I would recommend her to anyone wanting high quality beautiful photos.

Many of my friends have used Spark & Whimsy to capture important moments in their lives. I've always admired the results and knew that if we were ever in the same place at the same time, I would ask Juliana to take my family's portrait. This summer the stars aligned and Juliana did a shoot with us on PEI. I'm very grateful that she took time out of her holiday (and away from her own family) to accommodate us. Ahead of the shoot, Juliana put effort into finding the perfect setting (which aligned with my request for natural, iconic Island scenery) and, during the session, she checked in often to ensure we remained comfortable. She put a great deal of time and attention into our shoot, and the subsequent editing. Not only did she beautifully capture our images, but the feeling of the day and our family's love translates to the photos. Juliana has a special talent; her love and enthusiasm for her job is evident in the quality of work she produces. I look forward to making this portrait session a yearly event.

Juliana photographed our wedding, and she and her assistant Chelsea did an absolutely fantastic job. Juliana was responsive and offered helpful advice while we were planning. She met with us for a short engagement photo session ahead of the wedding so that we could get comfortable working together - this helped us know exactly what to expect on our wedding day. Juliana is not only a highly skilled & deeply talented photographer, she is a lovely person & she made us instantly comfortable and relaxed so we forgot about the camera and just had fun. The photo shoot was one of the highlights of our wedding day in fact! She was professional, organized, relaxed, efficient, and seemingly everywhere at once; she got some wonderful shots during our ceremony and we didn't even notice she was moving around taking them! She did a great job with our group shots too, especially considering we had 11 people in our wedding party so there were a lot of folks to wrangle.
