They are doing some renovations making the dining room bigger. There is a bar. They have very good burgers n fries. People are very pleasant and friendly to chat with.

Driving makes you hungry so lunch at the Baldur Motor Hotel. Yummy home made hamburger and fries. The grilled cheese needed a twist. The cheese appeared to be cheese slices, maybe a slice or two of cheddar or Gouda would perk it up!! staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved the plants on the window!

Drove out from spruce woods inn, as everything around was closed for breakfast. Delicious cheese, green onion and green pepper omolette with homemade fried potatoes with green onions and buttered white toast. Well worth the roughly 20km drive. Plus the place itself is akin to a time capsule.

Don't let the outside facade from the 60's mislead you. Had a double cheeseburger and there was 2 patties, must have been about 6oz each. Fabulous chunk of meat. 30min turn around from walking in to walking out, takeout.
