Always have to appreciate a winners. Fantastic items for fantastic prices. Open late as well. My complaint is the staff here. Sensitivity training might be necessary. They do not bother to make female shoppers comfortable and treat male customers like they're trying to take them home. Its disturbing as a woman in a relationship when someone does not have the respect that should be had without incident.

I had to give 1 star otherwise it is 0. PLEASE!!! train your staff on how to be hospitable. Always have terrible experience at this location, this has been twice this year . The way I got treated last night in the store was solely based on Racism. Last night I was in the store and I spent above $200. I found 2 Steve Madden bags one in green and the other in black. As I was heading toward the checkout out, I found the green bag was damaged. I asked the cashier if they have another one in store of the green colour with the same style. The cashier called the manager and as the cashier explained the issue to her, she looked straight at us and said that she is not doing a markdown. We didn’t asked for the markdown. The way she said it was beyond rude. The manager’s name is Ivy. She might be having a bad day or was tired but that doesn’t mean that she gets to take it out on the customer. I also deal with customers all day and I know myself how it feels at the end of the day. The cashier who attended me was good and attentive but the manager was terrible.

Very nice store, great selection, good place to shop.

Just had the most dismissive interaction with a cashier. Didn't do a single customer service courtesy... didn't ask if I found everything I was looking for. Didn't ask for my tjx card. Didn't ask how I was paying. Didn't tell me to have a nice day. Instead she talked with another cashier about her weekend plans rather then engage with me. I don't recommend this location. Take the drive to Vernon and get some Great customer service from polite and courteous staff.. the Salmon Arm location does not provide that.

A small store, neat and tidy with a decent selection. The pink Levi's jean jackets were an interesting find. The computer crashed during our transaction after approving the credit purchase, but apparently not completing the sale. We had to move to a second till to complete the transaction and were told to call head office if we were charged from the previous failed transaction"... un-huh... not the most reassuring and now requires extra legwork for us.... not the staffs fault
