Had a great night, we were unable to get to the beach area though. Google maps lead us to a log road that was no longer in use. We did find an area nowhere near the beach though to pitch a tent. Fortunately I was able to get our car in on this old road and we beat the rain. Will explore the area again.

Excellent if you want backcountry camping while remaining accessible. Trails where very overgrown while still facilitating navigation and hiking with 70 lb backpacks. Many clearings you can use along trail to camp or rest (not formal camp sites, but clear areas you can utilise). There was a beaver damn that had flooded the trail while we where there about an 30 min hike from the road, but once you got past it there was an accessible hike to a great view of the ocean from the cliffside with fossils on the beach. Great experience.
