Canine Evolution goes WAY beyond “Sit, Stay, Come”. When we inadvertently adopted a powerful, 1 yr old,, 70lb Chesapeake Bay Retriever who was unwalkable and freaking out on us, we didn’t know what to do. Michelle, with her extensive knowledge and experience, was able to gave us a crash course in Force-Free training. After only 3 in-home sessions, we have a wonderfully brilliant and well-behaved companion. She taught us how the dog perceives the world and how to teach him to be calm, fearless and happy. We are all much happier and he has become an awesome dog. Looking forward to learning more techniques that will enrich our life and his.

We've worked with Michelle for several issues, mainly barking and handling concerns. She taught us about consent-based handling, which makes our lives so much easier and helps our small dog be confident and at ease when we take her to the vet, trim her nails at home, or check her paws, ears, or eyes. Michelle has always been available for follow-up questions and runs free events for her clients who need more practice or want to discuss their questions in a group of like-minded people. We've also attended her Uptown Hounds course, which taught us how to practice being in public with our excitable dog, and we're learning dog parkour with her which is challenging fun for both dog and humans. Overall, she has empowered us to train our dog ourselves and is always there for us when we get stuck. We recommend Michelle to everyone.

Michelle from Canine Evolution is a positive reinforcement trainer who has taught me so much since I adopted a reactive rescue dog.I am no longer nervous or afraid when we are walking and come across another dog or uncomfortable situation. She works with you and your dog until you are comfortable and confident. She also goes out of her way to provide information and discounts on food/ dog treats if interested!!
