These folks are... literally the best! Completely saved us when my wife's car quit on the highway and had be towed home. Two other shops failed to correctly diagnose and fix the problem. One of them even told me it was a lost cause, it needed a new motor, there aren't any available, it'll cost more than the car's worth and I should just scrap it. All BS!After just one CONVERSATION where I explained the symptoms and what happened, the team at High Crest correctly identified the problem, how it happened, what the early warning signs would have been and how it could be fixed! Just incredible, this made up my mind that they were the shop for the job. They did the testing, opened up the motor, found the burnt valve, replaced them all to be safe, did the other recommended maintenance while the motor was open, and we were on our way... for much less than the car was worth btw!I even told them to do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING that makes sense when you are in that deep. Some shops would have taken that opportunity to add a couple fluff jobs onto the bill, but not these guys! They did only what was necessary and needed, nothing more. The price was fair and the service was absolutely top-notch. These guys are real car enthusiasts and they know their stuff. High Crest is sooo much more than just your run-of-the-mill, part-swapping auto shop! If you need the best... just call High Crest!

Finally a mechanic who is honest and kind and doesn’t fix things that don’t need to be fixed. You know how good they are when they have 30 plus cars waiting outside their shop. I had brake work done that another mechanic screwed up and made them smoke. Matt fixed the problems and my brakes have never been better. They squished me in as well as they really were very busy. Well priced, decent friendly guys. Highly recommend A+++

Honestly I would give them 3 stars if I had the heart, but they're great people and do great work.Except for their communication. You have to call them constantly to get any update on your vehicle, otherwise it could sit there for weeks being finished and you wouldn't know(or unfinished due to lack of parts or some other reason). It's the single gripe I have with High Crest, but oh boy is it a frustrating one.

Brought my Dad's car in as we have just moved into Barrie, and is having an exhaust system issue. The service and staff were exceptional. Very polite and knowledgeable, providing great insights on what should be fixed and what other issues we may see soon. Will definitely visit again!

My husband is the one to get our BMW X5 and our Dodge Grand Caravan. Excellent work and good price.

Highly recommended. Figured out an electrical issue for me that other shops likely would not even touch and at a very reasonable price. Very knowledgeable in European stuff. Communication is excellent.I know many mechanics and have been to many shops. I can honestly say these guys are in the top 5% for customer service, knowledge and honesty.

What a great auto service. Was really impressed. I now take my vehicle there for what ever I need, service excellent, work excellent. You can not ask for more.
