Fred Victor Housing, Community Meal Program and Community Gardens

I've long valued the community-based work they do in Regent Park, especially bringing community members together to cook for hundreds every Sunday. I recently had the pleasure of taking a pie-making workshop there that made what seemed like an impossible feat accessible, fun, and empowering. Not to mention delicious!

I love this place and meeting everyone from our neighborhood they provide breakfast and lunch for those who need it. I use their chapel area for my music lessons and the staff here are the best! They are warm and welcoming!

Toronto has a serious homeless crisis. This organization does great work helping the homeless. Good people.

This place offers 6 free meals a week to anyone who enters breakfast on Monday and Friday with lunch served Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri. Last year alone they served over 50,000 free meals to the community. They offer housing services for those looking for housing or fighting to keep the housing they have, and have 87 low income subsidized apartments on onsite. The staff and the community have a mutual respect for one another. It's a small organization that is currently in the process of amalgamating with Fred Victor... I did a voluntary work as kitchen staff at this organization, Fred Victor. A bunch of nice people to work with. Having fun while doing good for others.

I am only going to tell ya the truth about this place. I went in today to get help with two tokens for hospital trips with surgery documentation and not just one surgery but I had two. I was first lied to about tokens (told we don't have tokens here) I looked into the mans eyes and said hmm that's funny because I had help here before because of health issues and was given 2tokens. Then the story changed and was told to my face that we just don't give out tokens anymore ???? Very rude so I took my medical papers that show I need help and that I had 2 surgery s yesterday and left I'm in shock. And ways that's the truth of what happened and I will never for get the mans name (G) I'm upset and I think this place needs to have the right people working three also I was not taken any where I could speak alone I had to share everything that was wrong with every one there

Took both my younger kids for their vaccine shots. It was scheduled. The whole experience was quick, smooth, and friendly. Everyone was so nice, professional and efficient.

I go here almost every Saturday for the past 8 years, fred Victor has just taken over. Bit pastor Joe & his team are amazing
