Will always pick A&W over most burger joints if it's I the area. Staff was friendly, food fresh and hot, and service was quick.

I ordered at the drive through window and was told to park and they would bring it out when it was ready, (3 or 4 minutes they said). There were no other customers for the 15 minutes I waited! Finally went in to find the two employees having a wonderful little visit, my bag on the counter between them! Oops was the only explanation I got.

I only give 4 rating for service because they are not quite fast like other fast food restaurants even though there out of number of employee.

Ordered couple of chicken burgers for pickup. Went through drive-thru at thr pickup time. Was asked to park and it will be delivered there in few mins. Was waiting there more than 20 mins. Then had to walkin to the store. There were 3 ppl inside but no one came to front to ask if i need any help. Was standjng there for few mins and i called out. Then a lady came up and said give us few mins. Eventually someone came up and i asked for my order and was handed over in another 10 mins. Overall took me 40 mins to get my order in a empty store.

Haven’t been to A&w in a while, maybe since 2020. It’s not one of the fast food places I would usually go to, not sure why because it’s probably a better choice than the other fast food chains.Anyways, I saw the “Best Burger Ever” Burger. The collaboration with Matty Matheson. I wanted…No, I needed to try it. It’s the best burger ever according to their marketing team, well guess what. I’ll be the judge of that.The burger was most likely the best fast food chain burger that I’ve yet to experience - in Canada. The burger has prime rib ground beef, garlic aioli, fried pickles, and caramelized onions, on a brioche bun. It was actually so good that while writing this review I’m contemplating getting it tomorrow for lunch. The only thing I wish they did was add one more fried pickle (personal preference). I’m also usually not a fan of caramelized onions but it goes well on this burger. 5/5 for the burger - good job A&w.I also got the poutine, I like their fries, they’re soft and the light gravy goes well with the soft fries. They also use real cheese curds.All in all, I would usually give A&w maybe 3 or 4 stars, but this burger was phenomenal. It’s a limited time burger, so keep that in mind. I don’t know the condition of the A&w location or customer service as someone picked it up for me.
