The Physio Spot

Everyone at the Physio Spot is so welcoming and friendly. Saro has been wonderful, treating myself and my daughter for various concerns. I’m excited about their new Stouffville location as it’s right near home.

I had treatment from Catherine. She has really helped me with my sciticia and my chronic back/neck pain. I am a 28 year old female with severe pain but working with Catherine has transformed my life. She is gentle, kind & so knowledgeable. I highly recommend a session with Catherine.

The Physio Spot is a very welcoming and comfortable place. I have been bringing my elderly father and my 11 year old daughter to see Romano and his crew. My father healed in no time from his injury, and my daughter goes for regular athletic pre habilitation treatments. RJ at the front desk is also very pleasant and we look forward to all our appointments.

My 10yo daughter sprained her ankle one week before her hockey provincials tournament. Not knowing just how bad it was and if she would be able to play in a week, a friend recommended me to call Physio Spot. I spoke with Romano and he was able to get her in to see someone up at their new location in Stouffville. Over the course of the week, we saw Gavin twice (and Sally once), both of whom were so good with my daughter, providing great care and guidance with exercises to improve her mobility/healing. After assessing her the day before the tournament, Gavin gave her the go-ahead to play with her ankle taped up, as long as she felt comfortable doing so. My daughter saw Gavin for a few more sessions after the tournament to ensure her ankle was healing properly and that she continued to do exercises to strengthen her ankle. Although I know my daughter's ankle would have healed on its own at a slower rate without any therapy, I couldn't have been more pleased with the support and care provided by Gavin as he understood just how badly my daughter wanted to play in her tournament! He was professional, knowledgeable, and connected well with her. I appreciated him taking the time to answer my questions and to explain things so my daughter could also understand. Thank you to Romano for arranging the first session so quickly and the lovely staff who always called to remind me of her upcoming appointments.

Had a major ankle injury and the level of progression I experienced as a result of Jayme’s work is incredible. I went from unable to walk without crutches to running, jumping and I will soon be returning to sports again. The staff here are professional and knowledgeable!

I've been experiencing back pain for a few years now due to an injury and was recommended to The Physio Spot by a friend. I started seeing Jayme and was making good progress, but then moved an hour away and decided to find another physiotherapist closer to home. I hadn't made much progress in the year I was seeing the other physiotherapist and my pain was actually getting worse. It got to a point where they said they couldn't do anything else to help me anymore.I've come back to The Physio Spot to see Romano and let me tell you, it is worth every minute of that two hours of driving to get there and back. The staff here are so incredibly knowledgeable and know exactly where to needle/massage/stretch. Houda at Reception is so kind. I am so grateful for when they squeeze me into their busy schedules. I would highly recommend The Physio Spot to anyone!

Came to the Physio Spot following a wrist injury, and had the pleasure of working with Sally. Sally was super professional but also friendly and relatable. She was knowledgeable in the types of treatment and exercises that she recommended to me, and ultimately it lead to my speedy recovery. I would highly recommend Sally and everyone at the Physio Spot, and I would definitely come back in the future (although hopefully I won’t have to, haha)!

Suffered a major set back when my ACL torn. Didn’t know what to do with my self until my physician recommended that I attend the Physio Spot. The therapist/staff are all welcoming, friendly and very knowledgeable. They helped me build the courage/confidence to keep going and rebuild. Facility is very clean and homie. The receptionist are so welcoming and remember everyone’s face and name. Only appointments on my calendar I actually look forward to attending. Top notch. Highly recommended.

I have trained in powerlifting for over 10 years which has resulted in some serious wear and tear to my knees, back and shoulders. Romano has helped me significantly with building me back to little to no pain. I know I will see him on a regular to ensure I’m kept healthy and would highly recommend him to anyone. He is extremely knowledgeable and will cater specifically to whatever your needs are. The staff are all very friendly and the atmosphere in the clinic is great and makes you feel like home!

Jayme was very friendly and thorough with my treatment. At one point I had feet pains, which she quickly diagnosed as something that a chiropodist would know better. Thank you Jayme, for treating my wrist pain as well as guiding me to see a chiropodist!
