Travelodge by Wyndham Edmonton West

Stayed here for 3 nights with my husband, Darren. We came from BC with our Mustang GT and were very happy to see how safe it was in the parking lot. It was an overall pleasant stay! I highly recommend it!All staff were friendly and nice, and the room we booked was super clean!Check-in staff and housekeeping were especially nice! We ran into housekeeping staff on our second day, and she was super friendly and kind. It was nice to see staff smiling as that isn't the case everywhere. I wish I had asked for their names!If im ever in the city again, I will definitely be staying here! :)

Would not recommend.Lazy staff. Not accommodating at all.The “complimentary breakfast” reminded me of a shelter.Dirty. Old. Questionable characters hanging around.Uncomfortable beds, unclean room.The absolute worst stay I have ever had anywhere.Only plus is my kids enjoyed the pool.

Service was great, the receptionist smiled and greated me and family, however as for the room it wasn't great. The room was less than desirable, it was dirty and the room didn't smell good. The roof had damage, there was brown spot. The only thing that looked clean was the beds, they were made and the sheets seemed clean. The vending machines didn't work.

The hotel needs a lot of TLC and to desperately be cleaned.. especially the rooms and pool. Lots of questionable people hanging around inside and out. We ended off leaving after one night and going somewhere else.On a plus note, the breakfast was ok for being free and the kids enjoyed the pool, even though it was very dirty.. Our dog enjoyed the dog park area. Staff was friendly.All and all, I don't think we would stay here again.

The place is convenient as it is in front of a major road being it accessible. Although, the parking is limited, it was not full when we got there. The building looks old and smells like old inside. The lobby also looks dirty and smells like it was not cleaned regularly. The room was prepared nice but I think I got some bed bugs there coz I had some rashes after 2 nights of sleeping there. The room also is spacious for 1 person. The bathroom has a terrible water supply. I am not sure if its because of I’m in the top floor or because of the pool. But the water in the shower is not enough to be use. I didn’t use the pool as it looks like it was not changed for a couple of days already. The front lobby was not kept dry and cleaned as well. It is always wet and needs to be mop.The front desk service is good. Although the cleaner needs improvement. The breakfast is free but I didn’t enjoyed it as the only option is breads, cereals and waffles. No meat except for boiled eggs which is not appetising. The lady in the breakfast lounge also looks like just woke up from bed and prep the breakfast.Overall, I am only satisfied with the service and will never come back coz of the facilities and cleanliness.

Horrible hotel, not even deserving of 1 star. Sketchy, junkie type people everywhere. The hotel is so run down, the room smells musty and the rest of the hotel reeks of extremely strong chlorine. I STRONGLY suggest staying literally anywhere but this hotel, its an absolute dump. The chairs are full of stains and spills, looks like nothing has been replaced in 30 years. The pictures they post of this hotel, looks nothing like it in person, completely false advertising. Strange noises from the floor above like someone was dragging a chair across hardwood floors making a loud screeching noise that happened every 5 minutes until at least 4 am, people were also slamming doors until extremely late in the night as well. Its absolutely impossible to get any sleep here. The pillows were odd lumpy chunks of foam shoved in a pillow case. If I were the managers of this hotel I would be extremely embarrassed as this could easily be one the worst hotels in Canada.

Some rooms need a little T L CThe morning breakfast they offer should have bagels and some hot eggs and toasters that toast both sides of the bread. The Waterslide area looks so much better with the new chairsThe water slide was closed and the manager opened it for the people staying there. Which was fabulous as we had a great time. They also except pets and have a great place for them. Love the pet area.
