I found Katie to be very helpful in creating a new look to a our older recreation property. We took a chance and she really came through for us. She helped us pick the theme and followed up to the completion. Picked the colours, flooring, trim, tiles, and all the lighting she hand picked. For us we wanted a professional touch to make sure we had a good product and that we did. I work on first impressions mostly and Katie gained my confidence in our first meeting!

Katie helped me to 'reimagine' the living room in my townhouse. She came over and took the time to understand my style, and broader vision for the room. There were a few purchases that I was considering making - but wasn't sure whether they'd work in the space. Katie shared her honest insights, experience and amazing sense of style. She came up with a visual design / proposal with several options that would help leverage existing furniture, bring in new furniture and bring the living space together - without breaking my budget. This gave me the confidence to make decisions on my goal to create a space that is 'cosy', yet simple, ties together other areas of my home, and brings together new purchases with existing ones. She helped me to understand why certain aspects of my living space didn't feel 'balanced' and showed me 'what good looks like'. Having the design 'playbook' for the room is now my guide and will hopefully help me avoid any 'off-piste' purchases. When I started working from home, I wanted to create a space that felt like I was working in an office, not the spare bedroom in my house. I have seen what Katie can do in an office space; creating energy flow and movement through soft curves and a multitude of textures. I wanted that same feel, in a scaled down version.
