Pine House Bakery Hastings
One of the best traditional bakeries in East Van. Take a ticket, get your order, its wrapped in a box and bow. Try not to drool at all the delicious sights and smells of fresh buns, cakes, and more. I bought a light cake filled with THE best whipped topping, fruit, and chocolate shavings. YEEEUM! Prices are decent. Service is fast. Health protocols followed. Thank you ladies!

A nice bakery to get delicious buns and desserts. I usually come here for the pork buns and the coconut buns.The bakery items are fresh, taste good and have decent flavour. Staff are friendly, we have been coming here for years now. 4/5

Usually I would go to Maxim, but this place is close to work. Pastry items are put Ina plastic cellophane bags and sealed with adhesive; ready to be opened and resealed if necessary.What they have that Maxim does not? Curried Chicken Puff Pastry. Both the chicken and beef versions have a nice curry flavor with a mild kick that is above Maxim's. The egg tarts are a bit sweeter, but it sure beats paying more when you have Dim Sum.With the location close to work, I can come more often and purchase pastries more often.

Yesterday afternoon I bought two cakes, a medium one for gift and a small one for my family, when I got home I opened the small one and found that the fruit smelled bad, even so I decided to cut it, My surprise is that the cake is in a state of decomposition, it is not possible that they can sell such a product, or keep it near the other cakes, I would never buy cake there again.

Pine House Bakery Hastings
A staple bakery for the essential asian baked goods. One of my go to places for steamed and baked bbq pork buns. Prices are decent and lots of good options for other types of baked goods as well. Fruit and chocolate cakes are great as well and highly recommended.
