You'd hope that the Safeway pharmacists would offer you choice of a brand name or generic option for your prescription, especially after asking if you have extended health coverage (I don't). I found out after paying almost 60$ for my prescription that a generic version existed for 40$. Wait time for my prescription was excessive, as well.

It's a mandatory wear a mask indoor public spaces in BC yet this Safeway doesn't care about a killer pandemic and is more concerned about someone shoplifting than enforcing someone to wear a mask even though they could be spreading covid-19 all around the store! Poor management!

Make sure you quadruple check with the staff on the phone that they for sure have what you’re asking for. Just spent my day running around because I was told they had supplies that they actually do not. How hard is it to check before saying “yes, we have that.”No consideration for anyone else.

Make sure you check the expiry dates on your medications. I was given medication that was extremely expensive that was expiring in 4 months. The medication was for a longer period of time. Therefore it expired way before I could have used it. The manager, May Ling was extremely rude and hung up on me as I was requesting that they remedied the situation. That was her response. Hang Up! She got her money, meanwhile I'm out both the money and the medication. Check the dates of the meds they give you!!!

Way too slow. Don't pick up here, just go to the pharmasave down the corner they'll fill your medications in 5 mins rather than 30.
