Cut Above The

Always have availability. Staff member hadn’t even arrived when I turned up for a booked appointment so I had to wait on them. They are incredibly expensive too. I won’t be using them again.

I walked in desperately needing a cut. Last one being pre covid in the fall of 2019. The hairdresser did an amazing job and was extremely patient with the mess of locks I presented her with. The cut is outstanding and one of the best I’ve had since the 80’s.

I have never had a worse experience in my life. The stylist who did my hair messed up and it was white. She was busy with another client and was u able to fix it. She asked another stylist to do it for her and this woman snapped. She claimed she wanted to leave work early because she had plans. She slopped dye all over my head extremely roughly and when asked to wash it out because it was getting too dark she told me she was the stylist and she was going to do what she wanted. When it was time to wash it out she deliberately kept hitting me in the head with the hose really hard. I ended up having grey hair when it was all said and done and I swear she did it out of spite! I had to call another salon crying and begging them to fix it for a very important event I had the next day and she had to do several different things to even get my hair to look half normal.

Michelle is very personable, extremely professional, and it's fun to sit in her chair. She goes the extra mile every time when it comes to quality. Michelle settles for nothing but perfection for her clients.Chris. L

They advertised a student rate but did not give me the student rate because of long hair which cancelled out the student discount. The hairstylist herself did a great job but the owner (white haired unfriendly man ) was who rang us thru did not give us the discount. When I asked about the student discount he said yes but never gave the discount - when I questioned him he said no because they had to account for long hair - literally it was just a trim and left merely a tablespoon of hair in the ground!

I took my daughter into the Peterborough location and was horrified with the outcome. We went in to have her hair lightened to a medium blonde and came out with multiple colours and a horrible cut. I may not be a hairdresser but the last I checked you should probably lighten the natural hair colour to achieve a lighter colour. Unbelievable and they charged me for for the cut and for the supplies for the colour that made a complete mess of her hair now I have to take her to another hairdresser and see what can be done to correct this horrible mess. Did I mention she is in a wedding in 11 days???? DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!!!! As well, while we were there a sweet young man who was autistic was treated horribly because of their error and forgot to write down his appointment and tried to make him feel like he was in the wrong I should have walked out then!

Was there yesterday for a simple wash, blow dry and straightening. It's not the first time I've come here for that, but it was the first time I've had that particular stylist. I don't know how you mess up something so basic, but it happened. When she asked if I was okay with product, I said a little bit

I brought my 6yo here for her first real hair cut today. The woman that cut her hair was amazing! She was very friendly and knowledgeable and was fantastic with my wiggly daughter. Thank you!

I've never had as bad of a haircut as I just got from this place. Came remember her name, it started with a D. Older lady. As soon as she started cutting my hair I knew something was up, I asked her to taper my hair and she didn't know how to do it. She wouldn't show the back of my head to me and I had to ask for the hand mirror. The girl with the red and black hair is bomb at cutting though.

This was not my first time at this salon. Typically they have young talented people working but it seems to have gone downhill. Despite the nice appearance, the salon has missing and rotting ceiling tiles and many employees walking around doing nothing distracting the hair stylist.In terms of my haircut, the person who cut it did NOT listen to what I wanted and appeared to do her own thing... my hair is a lot shorter than what I asked for. She was rough and barely cleaned off the hair on my face.Like I said, this wasn't my first time here, I had a pleasant other experiences but my last two experiences were not ideal. I will definitely not be coming back here again
