Visited without an appointment, waited about 10 minutes before our host Mimi showed up. Thorough professional with her advice, she made it swift and easy to checkout. I was scared because of all the reviews I had read earlier on, but had a great experience!

Definitely not a high end customer service treatment like their products they are offering. Security was very helpful and actually the most friendliest out of all the people.Came to get a birthday present for my mother who is in an wheelchair and oxygen bound. Had to wait for quite some time until I decided to call the store while we were waiting. Marie asked me whether she could place me on hold and not even waiting for my reply she did.She said that she would come down and assist us with matching us up with an associate; and so she did.The associate, whose name I did not take, was not familiar with the type of products and the material being used.Cashier shouted: “Next….”I would highly recommend some customer service online courses…. what a shame…

I called the boutique about a saddle pad that was destroyed in the wash and was told to come to the boutique to see what could be done about it. I came to the store, and after waiting 30 minutes, a sales associate came, took a photo, left me waiting another 15 minutes. I was told that the photos would be sent to the main offices in Paris and they’d call me back if anything could be done to repair the item. While I think an item that retails for nearly $700 should be able to handle machine washing (as instructed), I’m very frustrated that I was told to come to the shop only to have a photo of the item taken. Had I known this was protocol (which is a fair one), I would have simply taken photos myself, and emailed them.Better communication from the sales associate on the phone, and more prompt service from the associate attending could have saved me nearly 3 hours of time, nevermind parking fees downtown and fuel.Note - the tear in the saddle pad was caused by the polyester threading being too tight. In many situations where a synthetic thread is stitched too tightly, it can often slice through even the most durable of materials by creating pressure points in the fabric due to their being no give. Ultimately, the saddle pads are created with fashion, not function in mind (but that is an entirely separate issue).

I was shopping at store today, my sales is nice and welcome. Over all it’s a great shopping experience. BUT I want to express how ruled the sales from mainland China…she squeezed between my sale and try to “take over” the counter (try to fight for the items for ppl she takes care). When she between us,back and forth, she said nothing, not even “excuse” or “please”. She literally used her physical body, encroached my space…I felt the wind from her…it’s like shopping fish in a movie scene. With shocking wave in my heart, I move to other side of store…look at my sales, I said “ how aggressive”, my sales looked at me and smile, didn’t comment on it. (She handled it well.)I couldn’t believe it’s happened in Hermes store, sales from mainland China has such low etiquette!Hermes please hire competent quality employees, you are in people business. It’s damage your brand image. We are shopping, not fighting. You can’t do whatever benefits yourself only. It’s so crazy with low management.#fight

Angela is the best SA! The interior of this boutique is stunning. You are free to shop without an appointment or SA, but if you have a question about an item, even if it's a simple question of where it is upstairs, expect to wait in line for an SA to set aside their full and undivided attention to you, one shopper at a time. They don't take appointments anymore but once you have an SA after your first visit, you can email ahead of your next visit to ask if they can set aside an approximate time.

I'm an Hermès client of nearly a decade. For leather appointments, I prefer to fly to Paris, but for nearly everything else, I will go to Bloor or shop online. Service has always been excellent. Friendly, warm, and helpful.

Yesterday my husband and I walked into Hermès and only the security was kind enough to greet us. The staffs didn't acknowledge us because of our casual outfits. You know the saying don't judge a book by its cover?" Well

Not too impressed. Sunday afternoon and a line up waiting to speak with a sales rep.Was just picking up a watch that had a battery replaced. Wait was 20 minutes. They took another 20 minutes to find the order, item and cash me out. Way too long.
