I Wanted them to help me get my licence back. I had an infection in my brain and I was depressed I lost a child and was dri king in the evening. I no longer drink and have had some counseling. Would like to rewrite my R.N.s and challenge the course.

THIS UNION ALLOWED A LESSER SENIOR PERSON WITH SAME QUALIFICATIONS TO BE AWARDED THE JOB, EVEN AFTER IT WAS POINTED OUT 4 DAYS BEFORE POSTING WAS DUE. LIFE CHANGING EVENT!!THEN, ALLOWED A NON ENGLISH SPEAKING REP TO DISTANT THE EMPLOYEE'S HUSBAND... (ALSO A UNION MEMBER, BUT GOOD UNION.)THIS ALL RESULTED IN BAD TIMES AT HOME, AND SUBSIQUENT DIVORCE...ALL BECAUSE SHE PUT IN FOR A JOB...THIS IS 2016, SHOULD NEVER HAVE HAPPENED!!!!!!ALL AT AYRE MANOR...SOOKE BC

Wrote the PRESIDENT with proactive comments.IE: HCA get a bridge program at CAMOSUN ( where it used to be )To speed up Transition for HCA's to become LPN, then they can become RN's from there.NO REPLY.This is after I saw a commerical on TV stating we need more nurses.WOULD LIKE A REPLY.

It was wonderful working at the BCNU! The staff members are all very kind and helpful. The work environment accommodated to the workers' needs. The company has a library, gym, and multiple coffee rooms that allowed staff to de-stress during the day. As a student nurse, I am very proud to call the BCNU my union!

Constant whining on TV ads about how overworked they are - maybe they should go visit a hospital and see for themselves the gathering of nurses in the stations chatting about theirs sons baseball games while patient bells are chiming all over and not one bothering to check. I’ve seen this on so many occasions where each time I see a commercial I shake my head in disbelief how out of touch this union is. Like another post said, protecting the rude and lazy nurses. I couldn’t agree more!

The ad you placed on TV is way off base...the guy tosses food out the curtain in emergency..what's that'll about? They have never given food to patients in emergency and the guy would never ne allowed to walk with no intravenous lines attached...lol...
