I share this review from my husbands email as I will no longer trust the workings of this company. They don’t care about the people they get jobs, we are means to end for them and disposable. I got lied to about having a job for a month. Thought I had good job coming with good company and stopped job search since I was hired. Before start date I’m told they don’t need me anymore before start date. I did all they asked of me, so why?? Good thing my husband has a good job or bills would have been behind. Shame on Miles HR. No respect for people. Don’t support this kind of people!!!

I regretted even phoning in, waste of time! I had seen a few jobs of interest on their website but wanted to learn more before applying due to the vague postings, and I wanted to ensure I was a good fit before giving my resume to a 3rd party agency. As someone looking to make a career switch for the first time in 10 years with excellent experience to back up my credentials, I expected to be taken more seriously by a recruiter. Took days of repeat phone calls just to get someone to answer the phone, then when I finally spoke with a sweet but clearly inexperienced young girl on the phone, she was unable to elaborate on any of the job postings, and in fact told me most of the ones of interest to me weren’t even available and hadn’t been for quite some time. False advertising isn’t usually a good start, but I stayed optimistic and continued the call. Gave an overview of my skills and experience and what I was looking for but was treated more like a burden/inconvenience than anything so decided to cut my losses and take myself elsewhere as nothing about my experience fostered trust (definitely NOT sharing my personal info after this)Given the difficulty being able to reach this agency in the first place paired with the level of unprofessionalism given to me on the phone, I recommend steering clear. This whole ordeal was now a few weeks ago and I’m happy to say I spoke with 3 separate agencies after this call, (all of which treated me with the manner of respect and professionalism I expected), and am now a week into an excellent permanent placement… NOT through Miles HR. (They also told me it would be hard for them to find me a permanent role, don’t trust them - cause I found one!)

By far, the most personable recruitment agency I have had the pleasure of working with. Everyone I have spoken with (particularly Sandra), has been professional, polite, and incredibly supportive. I look forward to working with them again in the future and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for assistance in their job search.
