Extremely hard to communicate with. Very hard to get through on the phone and when you do get through, you're not really dealt with in a timely manner. Technicians appear to be good but the office needs to work harder on customer service.

Called P.E. to repair my side-by-side refrigerator. Technician diagnosed the issue as a problem with the dampener and the gasket (rubber and magnetic casing on the door that holds the door closed). He had us unplug and defrost the unit. Unit worked fine after that (~48 hours). Ordered a new gasket ($380). Technician returned to install the new gasket and ripped the old gasket off only to learn that the gasket on my unit was not serviceable (i.e., couldn't be replaced; gasket ordered was not for this unit). He could not get the old gasket back on which rendered my unit unusable. Technician called a professional" during the install appointment ("What?! I thought YOU were the professional?!) for advice. So: fridge broken by technician

Dealing with PT appliance repair since March of 2021. Visited residence over ten time to repair washer. $375 dollars later my washer is still not working properly and they will not return my phone calls. Contacted BBB. In response , I received a phone call telling me that repair msn would come in to check the washer but would charge me a service charge to do so. Starting the process all over again. Would not acknowledge that the washer wasn’t repaired properly. Oh boy. Horrible customer service, zero stars would be more suitable. I had 5 months of a dragged out service repair for a 2 month-old broken fridge that was still under warranty. I was constantly lied to by this company and passed around to the manufacturer, Home Depot and back. They wouldn't take any responsibility and came up with a billion excuses about cancelling last minute then I'd find out the repair guy (they only have one) was working on another repair the same day they cancelled on me. I'd then have to wait 2-3 weeks for another scheduled apt only to be cancelled again the day he was supposed to come even though they assured me he would be there days leading up to it. It got so bad that Home Depot just gave me a new fridge because it was handled so poorly by this company and Electrolux.

I would not recommend this company. Over a period of several months they where working on a fridge repair but really didn't know how to fix it. To be fair to the tech after several months he did recommend a company that could help with the repair. They charged me $475 and could not fix it.The lady in the office continue to tell me she would send me by e-mail some details. However it only happened when I had moved on from their service. At the end she continued to dodge my calls and would never return my call or e-mails.Terrible. Look elsewhere when needing appliance repair serviceOne star just to get it posted.

I've dealt with this company in the past and have had good experiences.Recently, however, it has been very difficult to reach someone in our local office - no return calls or responses to emails, which makes for very poor customer service.Should someone be out of office, there should be a designate available to take inquiries. Eventually, I dialed the toll-free number on their website; I spoke to someone in another province but was relieved to finally get some answers.

Very poor service. We submitted a repair ticket to Samsung for our dishwasher in January, who referred us to PE for repair. The repair tech came to look at the dishwasher, and said that ge needed to order a new electrical panel. He said it would only take a week. After two weeks, I called for an update. The receptionist said that he had covid and had not yet ordered the part. Another two weeks and I called again, she then said that he was having surgery. The part finally arrived mid-March, and the soonest they could fit us in was early April. April 8th, the tech shows up and realizes that it's the wrong part. Apologized and said he would come back the week the right part arrived. Two weeks go by, no news. I call, and the receptionist said that she couldn't confirm that he wanted it rushed, and scheduled us for May 13th. I take a THIRD day off work to meet the tech, and he never showed. I called again, and she said that he tried to call me (no evidence of it in my history and voicemail) and that they got the wrong part again... now we're looking at June or July. We made an official complaint to Saumsung executive branch and are waiting on the results of the investigation. 6+ months for a dishwasher repair is UNACCEPTABLE.

We purchased extra warranty. Our warranty provider chose this PE outfit. Original request for service was July 27th. It’s August 25th and no firm appointment or service to date. Appliance is less than 12 months old. Only giving 1 star because 0 is not an option.

Bought a stand up frigidaire from costco and they use this company for their warranty work, unfortunately. Once they came to my house after trying to get ahold of them for weeks, two people showed up and walked all through my house with their dirty work boots on while insisting that they did not have any booties. He then tried to charge me for *warranty* work because I did not have my receipt present. They temporarily fixed the freezer as it was working for roughly the next 24 hours but then the same problem came back!! Please find a different company to use if you need any repairs done with your appliances. Very unprofessional, rude, and non responsive.

I’ve been waiting for my stove to be repaired for over 6 months. It’s under warranty and was supposed to be fixed in March but you ordered the wrong part. Since then, no one is answering my emails or phone calls.Ridiculous service 0/10
