Max Mechanical - Heating & Air Conditioning

Amazing service.I used 2 other companies and spent thousands of $ and still didnt work.Called Max Mechanical and fixed on the first visit!!Will use Max Mechanical for all my Heating and Air Conditioning needs.

Was referred to this company by my condo management when my A/C unit broke last year. Repairman came to fix the unit (required multiple visits) , was able to fix it eventually and charged $700. My unit broke down again the following year and they wouldn’t come fix it again (no warranty on the service). So I found an Asian handyman who fixed the A/C unit for $300 in less than 30 minutes on his first visit and promised to return if it breaks again. Thumbs down for Max Mechanical - would give 0 star if I could

I had issues with my furnace so I called AirMax Technologies and was referred to Josh from Max Mechanical. Service was speedy and he showed up on time. Josh was able to troubleshoot and fix the furnace and was not too costly since it was a quick fix. I would highly recommend Max Mechanical for your Furnace/AC service needs.

I had no hot water for over a week in a new build home. The contractors that the builder used came out many times to try to fix the problem and even switched out a part that was supposed to cost over $1,000 and didn't even fix the problem! I called Max Mechanical (in literal tears) and he sent someone out the next morning and fixed it within an hour. They explained each step, what could go wrong, and how much the fix would be prior to completing the work. They were kind, professional and polite... and the service only cost $200. I will be using them again for my ductless AC issues in the summer. Thank you Josh!!

Professional, reliable, best quote, and went above and beyond. Erik, the owner, came highly recommended by others in my condo building. He and his assistants installed my new heat pump and he was very responsive throughout the process. I got several quotes and his was by far the best for the exact same product and services of more expensive companies. He treated my home like his own, was kind and considerate, and even came back to make small adjustments and reinforce my storage shelves as a favour, because he wanted everything perfect. Highly recommend.

I had a terrible experience with Max Mechanical and one of their in-suite technicians. Here’s the story: Our condo is relatively new - max mechanical had installed the hot water tanks in our building and we were referred to max mechanical for hot water tank issues. We didn’t have any hot water so we called max mechanical. We initially reached out to the technician and it took him 3 weeks to come out to our property. He didn’t advise me how much his services were going to cost and how he charges hourly. Granted, their rates are on par with industry standards so that was fine. Our problem was that it took him 4 hours (and three separate visits) to replace the aquastat on our tank. He had to video call the manufacturer to make sure his work was being done correctly (should’ve known his lack of knowledge with this product). Only 4 weeks after his final visit, our hot water wasn’t working again. When we reached back out to him, he said he was going to charge us another visit fee if the issue wasn’t the aquastat. He billed us $485 to fix one aquastat but recommended that we need a new hot water tank!! He could’ve told us that from the beginning, instead of charging us an hourly rate in addition to his visit fees. A new hot water tank costs $600 + labor, whereas we paid $485 for 1 aquastat that wasn’t installed correctly. All other reviews for Max Mechanical seem to be great so I hope (and think) that we get unlucky with the technician that they sent out. Will not be using Max Mechanical for any issues going forward.
