customer service i received when picking up my item was terrible , i had it held for me over night ,went in at 9 am. Was rushed out the door because they were having a staff meeting during open hours. I would have not purchased item $350.00 if i could have found else where , I have not had any problems in the past with this store , but will probably avoid it in the future.

No sure why the other bad reviews but I love this place. They basically have everything you need for your boat and don’t hassle you. Perfect for a new boater like myself that needs a little extra time figuring things out. If you do need some advice, they seem happy to help and knowledgeable. Also, their stainless bolts and screw selection is unreal. Thanks y’all!

I've tried to order downriggers and seats for my boat with both times having my order cancelled, even when I am willing to wait for them to become available. Nothing on there website stated these were unavailable at the time of order. With that said they will not honor there pricing when they do become available. Very disappointed with how they do business and will make an effort to go else where due to there lack of competency.

I ordered three 3.78 liter jugs of QuickSilver Marine Anti-freeze. It uses Glycol so it's better for the environment and not flammable. Rob looked it up as they had none in stock and quoted me almost $34 a jug. As I usually pay 10.99 a jug I was hesitant and decided to look around. I was then told they had some for $28.99 a jug as I was leaving. The next day I order the three jugs and picked them up the following weekend. When I picked them up and went to pay I was charged $54. The person at the till then asked what price was on the jugs and changed the price to $96.00 and told me they had forgot to add the mark up. I can appreciate the store needs to make money to stay open but my God I feel ripped off. That's one heck of a markup. I try to support my local business but I think I can no longer take that kind of hit and will look at online ordering in the future. Doubling the price is not inflation it gouging. All they did was bring it in from the Vancouver store.

I have been going to the Granville Island location for many years. Service has been good during that time. Having said that, the service during my last visit was exceptional. I had gone into the store looking to upgrade my downriggers as well as buy some new rods and reels. There is a young man working in the fishing section who provided me the best service. For being a young man, he certainly knew his stuff. Not only did he take the time to explain things to me, he made some very good suggestions. He also suggested that I spool my equipment with line at the store rather than do it myself. I didn't know they did that before. Definitely worth that service. I would definitley go back and deal with this employee.

DON the store manager doesn’t know what customer services is,The rest of the staff (especially Rob) was very helpful and cheerful ready to serve the customers.I returned couple of Scotty accessories that did not fit the my boat application, He insisted on a 15% restocking charge for carefully opened packages??? It’s not about the money it’s about the principle!.I go out of my way to support local businesses when ever possible but when they don’t appreciate the customer it forces us to to go to big box stores!!Such a shame Don!!!

I have been to all three locations. The Langley location, and the people that work there are heads and tails above the rest. It feels like you’re going into an old hardware store from 30 years ago. By that I mean the attention to detail the congeniality, and the eagerness to help is outstanding. Much more than I’ve witnessed at the other two locations. I will be certainly making the extended trip from where I live to revisit that location to solve my boating issues.
