Nina is not only a great knitter, she has created a place to go that has a sense of community. You are always warmly welcomed by Nina and others who join together to knit. Nina takes the time to help you find what you are looking for and gives ideas for wools that would work for your project. She has a wide variety of wools, so you’re sure to find what you need, or she will order it. Today I visited this quaint yarn shop for the first time. I was greeted and welcomed by Nina. I told her I was a novice knitter looking for yarn for a project. She took me on a tour of all the lovely yarns. I settled on 4 hanks of Fibra natura, Kingston Tweed, which also happened to be on sale. Since the yarn was in hanks, she spun the yarn into balls for me while I explored the shop further. In addition to this, she said there is a knitting/crochet group that meets weekly in the shop and extended an invitation to attend.I highly recommend this shop based on the kindness, service, atmosphere and great selection of yarns at various price points. I will be back for sure! Thanks Nina!!

I love this store too! Nina and Jody built a wonderful community of fibre enthusiasts. It is a wonderful place to sit and knit surrounded by beautiful yarns in every colour imaginable. It is also my pleasure to teach classes there. Check the website for details. Hope to see you soon.

I like the product. So many masterpicees are completed by the beautiful yarns the store sales. Funny part I have never been in the store in person, ordering the yarns online. However, it is new reality.

An awesome yarn store, but not just a yarn store. Creative Yarns is a hub for our community of knitters and fibre artists. Store owner/designer Nina has created an environment where customers can linger and share, learning from and helping each other. There's also a great selection of yarns, and many original patterns showcasing Nina's design flair.

Creative Yarns is my favourite knit shop. The products are excellent and Nina is always there to help when you get stuck. There is a community of people who come and knit or crochet together, it’s a lovely place to share creative inspiration. I’m so glad this shop has survived Covid!

Nina is such a help and knows the intricacies of the craft so well. My favourite part is coming by with I can to knit with other folks and have a fun time within a fun community of people. If you're a knitter of any level, you'll love Nina's wonderful store!

First time here and the environment and experience was fantastic! Drove from the east end, and it was worth the drive. I feel this is a welcoming store for new and seasoned knitters. Very nice selection. I was surprised at how much they had to offer in a smaller sized shop, and everything was well organized. The ladies working here were lovely and a great help!
