Cherry Beach Resort

When we checked in we were told we had to be moved to a newer unit and let's just say we got our money's worth and more! Three bedrooms, one with bunk beds for my kiddo, a full kitchen with all dishes and utensils and a spacious living area. The couch and chair were not comfortable at all, but I don't suspect people staying here are staying inside. The beds were comfortable and it was quiet for sleeping. There was a nice little coffee station open in the morning as well for those that didn't bring their own food and drink. It had a trailer park community feel but some of the units were very luxurious and had lots of curb appeal. The staff were very informative and welcoming. The main office had some merchandise and local sweets available for purchase. I can't say enough about the attention they pay to children. I have already booked my second stay and can't wait for the summer!

Great staff, great cottage, great scenery. It was super clean inside and outside. We had a problem in our cottage about our propane running out so we didn't have heat and hot water but they took care of it quickly. It was a really fun time.

Cherry Beach is a very nice resort. Rent a cabin and enjoy nature. Go fishing, kayaking, jet skiing. It's all up to you ☺️

This is our 2nd year visiting and I'd like to offer ideas for enhancements:1. More umbrellas at pool with some tables. Hours were changed to 10pm - that's positive.2. Beach - Lounge chairs with some umbrellas/straw umbrellas for shade.3. Organized activities should be...well...organized.ex. Children's crafts should have all the supplies out and clear direction of what is expected and what we are making.4. Change dispenser at laundromat.5. The chip truck/canteen is open only on weekends - when the park is busy. It only has 2 picnic tables under trees. Offer appealing seating options - picnic tables with umbrellas on patio where people feel comfortable congregating for a meal. If you make it look appealing, they will come.6. Add more seating outside at Rec and Welcome Centre.7. I'm not sure what to say about smoking....but a smoking area would be a positive thing. Choices would be - you can smoke outside at your cottage or smoking area. Not walking through the grounds. Right now I walk around and some people use the whole park as a giant ashtray - very disappointing.Thank you!

Was only visiting but staff were helpful and friendly. Lots of family friendly places: park, pool and beach. Accommodations looked amazing. Only downside I would say is the marking of areas isn't very clear and numbers are a little hard to see.

This resort is a solid 3 star with lots of potential: good but not great. This was our 2nd year going with 2 young kids. I love the location, that there are so many amenities within walking distance and it seems like a great community.However, both times going, something was closed and in need of repair (this year it was the splash pad, last year it was the pool). Given how much it costs to rent these properties and how much the owners pay in monthly fees, this is a huge mark on their management. I was also pretty disappointed in the customer service this year as the staff seemed much less knowledgeable and friendly. For example, I left something behind and when I called, the young staff member said they had seen it but didn't know what happened to it. They said they would have the manager call me back and no one did. I am just not sure at this price if we would return again given the above issues.

Except for the one night they forgot to inform us that there would be a scheduled maintenance and a water shut down the place deserves a 5 star. The beaches were tilled daily and maintained to perfection. The grounds were also well maintained. A cottage on the beach is a rare find. The location cannot be beat. Spacious enough for a big family. The cottage itself was very clean and so were the appliances. Having kayaks and canoes at our disposal was a good value add.

Good family location. Service is non existing, water was cut off for a while night without anyone answering their phone.

We stayed for 3 days and had an amazing time. The resort is clean and well kept. Our cottage was on beach view so we had the beach right in our backyard. Was such a beautiful view. The cottage was extremely clean and had everything we needed for our stay, felt at home. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool was great. Beach was very clean and water wasn't too cold. Will definitely be returning next summer.

Everyone is super nice. Welcoming. We loved it. Wowow. They really have everything to have fun with your family.
