Bought a Pontoon boat from them , nice ad pie till the check cleared, had a few issues, was a total disappointment after that, they where arrogant, mean , and disrespectful, had to go right to Princecraft to get issues resolved. Don’t deal with Howell Marine, go to Hully Gully, bit further, but worth it.

Honest people whom do transparent up front sales. They have a long history and a wealth of helpful knowledge to share. We have enjoyed our experience with the Howells team!

We would like to thank Bob and Tammy of Howells Marine for giving us an incredible buying experience when we picked up our new 2018 South Bay S224 RS Tritoon with a 150 Mercury on it yesterday. We bought this boat sight unseen from the Hamilton boat show this past March. My first impression of Bob was he's a knowledgeable owner and a great consultant of his product, not a salesman. Bob's personality allows you to feel comfortable and relax during the entire buying process. Bob said we have a boat that matches what your looking for and I believed him. I gave Howells a $5,000.00 dollars deposit and 3 months later we seen our boat for the very first time we were beyond thrilled!!!! Just incredible day, one we'll remember for the rest of our life's!!!! P.S. we asked Bob if he could install a new swing turbo tow bar we bought on line a couple days ago and he did it free of charge!!! I'm a customer for life... our family Met The Howell Team at the Toronto Boat show, we went there looking for our first boat, and spoke to many suppliers and dealers, where we finally came across Howells Marine, immediately felt welcomed and they took time to explain all the options, they went over and above and we were happy with the decision we made to purchase from them, they looked after us on the delivery, with virtual delivery, sending us instruction videos personalized for our boat, they did a walk through on day of pick up and through out the season with our questions, always available and courteous, they also have many great services such as pick up and delivery, and storing our boat on top of normal service items. they truly follow through with customer service and will recommend anyone looking for a fun family boat to purchase from Howell Marine Services. Terrible service, phones calls/messages were not returned. The price changed a couple of times before receiving our trailer. No receipt was given when we put down a deposit. They didn't tell us there's a 2% surcharge when you use credit. I do not recommend.

Purchased a boat this spring from Howells Marine. Sales person was knowledgeable, transparent and great to deal with. Follow up from sales was a bit slow or non existent though. Updates for arrival were communicated though parts and service department. There I received accurate and professional service in all aspects. Had their installer rig my electronics which ended up a bit of a debacle. I mistakenly assumed it was done correctly and did not ask for a demo upon pick up so partly my fault ! Had everything fixed at home for which Howells paid for without any issue. Overall a very good buying experience and would recommend buying a boat here.

We purchased our boat in 2022. The sales team was very helpful and accommodating throughout the entire process. The shop did a fantastic job with all the customizations and Addons we wanted. After delivery and at the marina, Bob followed up personally on all matters to ensure everything was working right. The entire team showed outstanding integrity and honesty.

They were fantastic to deal with when it came to buying the boat in 2020. Since needing warranty work done on it in 2021 and 2022 they won’t return any calls or emails. They have lost a customer that was extremely satisfied with their pricing, and Chuck who was amazing to deal with when Purchasing the boat.Only if they could respond to the warranty work that needed to be completed they would not be getting this 1 star review.
